Okey I played through the first game and a little bi of the second one. I'd say that your level design has improved from the first game to the second game. One thing that bugs me was that some guns felt underpowerd. Like the bolt action rifle that you start out with in the begining felt really weak for a rifle with a low rate of fire. Also I liked the guns you've made especially for this game much better opposed to the re-textured stock guns. I liked the steampunk feel of the game for example the old footage at the begining of each game and the sound of the trains in the begining of the first game. I'd say the games biggest point goes to the atmospehere of the game. I'm guessing you've read Jules Vernes from the earth to the moon because of the bullet that you travel to mars with
Anyways I would have completed part 2 by now if it wasn't for this bug with the hit (collision not hit
) detection for the chains of the boxes over the gap in the second level (see attached image) so I can't jump on the boxes to the other side of the gap. anyone know how to deal with this problem it really annoys me. Thanks in advance.
Except for a few standard bugs here and there and some tweaking that could have ben done to the guns I think you made a good job with these games small fish. Looking forward to part 3.
