well you have cod 4: modern warfare, then you have cod 5: world at war and then you have cod 4: modern warfare 2 which is actually cod 6 for short or mw2. some classmates were speculating about it so i had to (try) make a picture like this, and the i decided to post it here!

Actually, unless I have been terribly misinformed, Modern Warefare 2 have nothing to do with the COD universe other than the fact that it is using the same engine (although modified and upgraded) as COD4.

So in conclusion it isn't COD6: Modern Warefare 2 or COD4: Modern Warefare 2. It's simply Modern Warefare 2.

Doesn't it help you sleep better now, knowing this possibly false information?

Also, Grandma you live anywhere near Oslo? Come to our concert! NOW.

o its not only possibly false, it IS false. Activision made an announcement that CoD is now exclusively Treyarch's title. Activision is going with the Modern Warfare series now.

I didn't knew that! would be pretty awesome, since the worst cod games were made by treyarch :S

Not trying to start a flame war, but it is actually true. COD WaW is just a MW engine rip off with a few extras (eg extra lag: look at it on PC, my friend can play MW full settings no lag but WaW lowest settings, < 10 fps. WHAT?!?!), the only reason it is doing well is because of the engine that they didn't even make. Look at COD3, their engine, (imo) the worst call of duty compared to all of the rest which were mostly made by IW

If I was ever given the opportunity to remove all the bad from the world, I wouldn't, because for there to be heroism, compassion and all that is good, there must also be all that is bad.

TBH, the campaign for me got redundant. Fast. I only played it for NZ.

MW2 is not in the line of COD games anymore.

They work, but really, who needs military-quality NV googles? Unless you're planning on jumping of cliffs and infiltrating the russian embassy or something.
