I also like Chrome. I like the simplicity and efficiency of it; it's a good piece of engineering
Firefox is clunky and I just don't trust IE: when I double click that icon I feel like I've put a priceless vase on a very wobbly table.
IE's tabs are so slow it's actually faster to just open another window... and throw the computer out.

Doesn't AJAX stand for "asynchronous JavaScript and XML"?

What do people have against IE? It's the only browser I've ever used, because of the simple fact that it... well... WORKS. I don't really use the Internet enough that I notice the efficiency of the browser I'm using, so that's not a factor either. I just don't need anything else.

Just because it "works" doesn't mean it's any good.

Nearly every other browser runs better than IE.

Signature's are stupid.

Well, what's so bad about it? I've yet to encounter one bug in it, it's never crashed on me (the most complex Microsoft program never to have done so for me), and it's fast enough for me. I don't really need anything else.

Yes proof please. You must be the youngest professional web developer in history!

I've only used Google Chrome for about a week and I'm hooked.

The good things about Chrome are (see attached image):

Bigger page area - All the tabs are at the top of the screen, the menu bar is replaced by a single icon right under the X, and the status bar is a small area in the lower left corner of the screen that pops up only when there's info to show and quickly disappears.

Pinned Tabs - Notice in the upper left corner of the screen shot the yahoo icon. That is a pinned tab that doesn't have an x to close it. Any pinned tabs stay there till you close Chrome or unpin them. Once a pinned tab is up there you can drag other tabs close to the pinned tab and make them pinned also without hitting the right mouse button on them.

New Tab Window links page - Instead of showing a blank page when you open a new tab via the + you see pictures of bookmarks you have and recent pages you've been to and closed. It allows you to pin these also so you can establish a set of 8 different sites you like to go to. It keeps recently closed pages so if you accidentally close a page you can find it there without looking at the history.

Passwords aren't *ed out - When you save passwords via Chrome you can actually find out exactly what the saved passwords are... not good for the paranoid. But for people that don't care if their family know their passwords it's nice to be able to see them if we should forget.

Downloads are shown at the bottom - Instead of all the other web browsers when you download a file it shows up at the bottom of the screen as part of the browser instead of a new window. This allows us to quickly hit the button to run the program and hit the x to close the download area when we're done.

Most lists are shown as tabs - When you select the full download list, history, or extensions it shows up as a tab so it's easy to open all of them at the same time and toggle between them.

Open in New Tab opens to the right of the origional tab - If you're viewing the second tab and you open a link in a new tab it'll automatically move the other tabs already on the screen to the right to make room for the new tab. So you don't have to look at the end of the list to find the tab you just wanted open... it'll be the next tab to the right of the tab you're currently on.

I abandoned Firefox because 1. All of the constant updates. I can't just start it up and get on the Internet, it's always downloading something, and 2. Firefox ceased to be fast.

Chrome is fast and handles everything I've thrown at it fantastically. The interface is very intuitive. It just acts like I wish it would act at the right moments.

Come see the WIP!
