I didn't think I did that well in the banner contest awhile back. In fact, I didn't win anything. However, the forum seems to LOVE it. I seriously see it there roughly 25% of the time (I'm guessing), which is pretty significant because that means 1 in 4. It's the code-snippet one that says "make game from exe".

So, just curious, why don't you all point at which one's you made, 'cause I forgot.

EDIT: ok, maybe not 1 in 4, but I seriously see it a lot.

It should appear around 0.6% of the time, so 25% is quite a bit too much indeed

I didn't make one cause I wasn't here.

I wasn't around for that contest, but I do get a chuckle everytime I see the "birth and death place of every MMORPG idea" one. Props to whoever did that one.

The banner that says "Book? I Hate Book. Book IS STUPID!" is sheer epicness :')

I like the "perfect language not requiring" one, for some odd reason. No, I didn't make it.

Organic error is awesome, definitely one of my favorites.

Book is stupid will ALWAYS be epic on these forums. And every so often, as has happened before...a thread will come up for newer forum users to get educated on what that references

Although...I think my ultimate favorite is the "Programming is the process of converting caffeine to error messages"...I can relate...

[Edit] Fixed

I love the one that says.. "TGC Forums, where you don't need pants to be awesome!" and there's some guy standing on his desk with his pants over his shoulder.. I had a good laugh when I saw that one for the first time.

EDIT : This one..

And apparently it says Apollo, not TGC forums.. *shrugs* Apparently we don't need brains to be awe- errr.. nevermind.

I just had a look through the lot of them and i found one i'd never seen before:
It's a bit plain but I didn't recognise it.

My favourites though are these:

There are 162 banners in total! (Although I think some are duplicates)

Refreshed the page for a while trying to find it, eventually just wrote a program to load all of them into Frontpage so I could scroll through them

Nobody. The logs don't contain any data relating to your avatar or location.

We have better things to do than to go randomly around the forum, removing sigs and changing locations..... or do we?
