For the second time this month, and immediately after our winter break! Doesn't get much better than this.

Anybody else have school off today?

I assure you, it isn't here, either--it takes a good six or seven inches to get us closed.

It snowed yesterday, only a couple inches though. Mr Snowblowerman was right outside my window at 6:30 this morning though, making sure all the snow was gone from around the dumpster. He's so thoughtful like that.

I will live forever or die trying.

Sunny weather here in Oregon! I think it "snowed" a month or so ago, but it was just a few flakes.

We just had 2 separate snow storms 2 days apart bringing about 8 inches each here in PA. Got 2 days off and 1 early release from school , ended up having a 6 day weekend. It was great, got to watch the lord of the rings trilogy again

Tons of snow in beautiful Virginia....

It was fun while it lasted...Then it turned to ice and made you slip whenever you tried to step on it. Then of course, it mets...We still have some chunks of ice laying around, though.

The ice is the fun stuff...when you're not driving.

Careful not to have too many snow days. Over here we had a few too many "storm days" (typhoon bearing down on us). Now the poor kids have shorter summer vacations and fewer holidays just so they can catch up on their schoolwork. Worse... my niece had to do a ton of homework during her Christmas vacation. And I thought vacations were supposed to be for relaxing and unwinding...

In the beginning there was nothing. There'll be nothing in the end...

We live on a hill, and one time it got soooo icy on the road that everyone slid down half the hill to the bus stop. The school bus never made it up the hill that day, or the next few days, so we had a small break from school.

I'm sick of the snow, it was fun for 5 minutes but now its just ridiculous. It is damaging my degree, 9.00am lectures are even more difficult to wake up for knowing that I have to walk through a blizzard!

I had snow two days ago. It came at lunch time, but I'm in 6th form, so all I had to do was nothing.

That was nothing as in wait for a friend to send a text message (which the teacher would have asked to be sent) and reply saying the snow is too slippery. Teacher believed me, simple as.

Just another perk of living up a welsh hill (we actually had a patch of snow which had been there for three days without quitting).

The rain came and washed it away that night anyway. Snow looks nice, but I don't think I want to feel that cold (I have raynauds).

Now just imagine that the whole state of matter is turned around? Snow would form when it's hot, and steam would form when it's cold. AWESOME!!!

The half-meter deep layer of snow has finally begun to melt around here. Obviously only so that it may freeze to form a nice layer of ice until monday.
