Aah okay. I just tried the setgravity and it works. Just very scarily. I set the gravity to 40 and I jumped into the zone(without a roof) and I flew out of the skybox XD

lol, gravity is fun. The only thing is if you put it at 0 you float off and can't do anything about it. Set it to 10 and your on the moon and you can kind of control yourself.

**edit**

I am having trouble with the hud shake this is the code I put in

:state=0,plrwithinzone=1:hudshake=Files\languagebank\english\gamecore\huds\health.png,state=1

and then I tried this
:state=0,plrwithinzone=1:hudshake=health.png,state=1

Yes, that is the expected result of a planet with no gravity. How well does it work though, is there any thing that happens that shouldn't?

Try removing the "state=1" and also, it uses the name, so when you do "hudname=", use the name that you entered there.

Hey Budokaiman. I have a simple suggestion for your future updates.

What about a flashlight? That would be a simple addition, wouldn't it? And call it with a scripting command, for easy customization.

^.^ Sorry for the outburst lmao, my PC's been getting hissy fits over our network so I was offline for a while.

If you want, I can make script packs like PB so the people totally lost with scripting can access scripting features without asking for tutorials.

I'm off to play with the new commands and actions. Can't keep up with everything!

That would be wonderful, thank you, just make sure that you don't release ones that people can't use yet. I can imagine the confusion that would cause.

It's okay if you send them out at the same pace, I was just busy for the last few days and barely had any time. I shouldn't be as busy this week until Friday. Having a birthday party for me going out with my buds, then on Saturday having a party with my mother's side, then my dad's side on Sunday. I'll try to do some stuff in between that though

Don't worry, I was going to wait until the main release of the new versions until releasing updated packs to make a nice surprise for the users

OK, I might get it set up, so that you guys will have an easier way to report bugs, without others seeing the commands before they are ready. I'll e-mail you when I have that up.

Hey, I've noticed that you can't make levels any bigger. The grid is bigger but the building space is the same, you can only get out to a certain point then it restrains you from building

Windows 7, Amd Athlon 7750 Black Editon (64 bit,3ghz + Dual Core), ATI Readon HD 4870 1gb Edition, 4gb Ram.

@ Bigsnake,in the current public release, the space you can build in is bigger, it just doesn't appear to be. Now with the current beta, that's fixed and it only shows where you can build

Hey guys, one last suggestion for you all. It's more on the management of the mod...

Stay open. Let others edit. Let's make this the one X10 mod around. Seriously, if another free mod for X10 comes up, see if you guys can work together. That is probably the only way you guys will ever truly get over X9. Because, X9 is better in the mod department, except for one thing: There are so many! There even was an app made to easily switch between mods there were so many. So keep it simple. And make life easier for everyone.

The update fixes the crash before getting into game, however there is still a crash when in game and you hit the tab key.

By the way, I tried the objectinview condition to play a sound when it was in the view, but it continuously played, even when I started the game looking away from it. The code I used was this:

Yet it played the sound without cease. Have I coded that bit wrong? Just thought I'd raise this problem .

-EDIT- The object was Dynamic and had Immobile to Off and Physics to On so it could be moved.

No, this appears to be a bug. I'll try a fix, and run some tests, but I still have to fix the crash that happens.

a question to mystic modders.

is the beta mod at the front of this thread now updated with the x2 size map (as in 80 x 80 squares) or is it still 40 x 40 with the background showing twice the size?
cheers.

its just i downloaded ages ago and wondered if it as been updated lately to actually give us the 80 x 80 squares or if only your testers have the x2.

and thankyou for your time.

The map size is still 40*40, I haven't really looked at the map editor source, so I will look into that, as I believe I have fixed the objectinview command, and possibly fixed the crash. I will update after the beta testers determine that the newest version is good for release.

What features have been added to this mod so far?

I can only see timer system and double map size on the 1st post and the extra map size is not usable at the moment.

Looks like a good start but you should make airmod integration a priority or at least some of its features.

Might give this a try soon.

There's more than that, the list of features somewhere on the thread, I'll post a complete list when I am finally able to solve the problem of the crash, and I can release a new version that has some fun features.

@Budokaiman

I have tested most of the commands, expect for the bank commands, I am going to leave them for le shorte to work with. The only one I can't seem to get working is hudshake. I think I am coding it wrong though. Other than that, and the ones already mentioned that have a big are all good from what I have tested them. I used more or less trigger zones to identify if they do in fact initialize. We are looking good for a release once the crashing is fixed.

@ budokaiman.

cheers for the info, and seriously a big respect goes your way as to modding. i get excited when i get a simple script to work, although i now have my indiana jones temple of doom trap working spot on.

do you not get huge headaches and get major block sometimes with all the modding?

anyway its all appreciated and if you need anything let me know as long as not modding or complex scripting as that is what i am slowly learning. anyway let me know.

cheers
