Nilloc, I'm actually making script packs so the people who aren't the best at scripting can still use cool features like zero-g, banks, etc.

Cool, I just back into FPSC x10 and this mod looks amazing. Are you planning on selling it or what? Will you release the source to your mod in the future?

It will remain free.

I install like you said too.Then start up the program and box pops up says something about a bug .I click the on ok button.After that the screen goes blank. please tell me what im doing wrong.

Yes, this is the crash that I have been working on fixing. As soon as I get it figure out and fixed, I will make an official release of the next version. For now though, any levels that have characters in them will not work.

Well, we are looking good for release soon, it's in the final stages of beta right now, so I will release a list of all features in the mod so far, so that you have the list of what is in it.


It should be released Wednesday, when it is released, it will no longer be in a .zip folder, but will just be an installer executable. When you run it, you will have the option to install all files to the designated folders, or extract the files to the same folder that the executable is in.

I still haven't really looked at the map editor source. I should probably do that.

To whom it may concern: the script pack will not incorporate all the possibilities from the commands that the mod includes at initial release. I've been insanely busy lately and haven't been able to work on the pack as much


Edit: I started making a plrsprinting:accuracy-70 script and I realized you put "plrspringing=X" in the condition list for FPI Edit Pad. So that may not work for edit pad at the moment.

Budok your installer does not like me, keeps telling me I am missing .dll's but thats because windows 7 was progrmmed without the usage of the MCFC7.dll. D:

The script pack? It will include premade scripts that you can pop into any trigger zone and they'll work how the description says.

Preview of scripts I have made and will release tonight as soon as I finish testing them all!

plrwithinzone=0:setgravity=40)
Weaponbuy(made by budokai) buys a weapon
accuracy decrease 1,2,3-decrease accuracy when player is moving, falling, or sprinting.

Sorry for double post, but I'm releasing the script pack but without the sprinting:plraccuracy=-70 script. the game crashed when I went to test it. As for the other accuracy scripts, I'm not entirely sure they work, but I noticed the accuracy does decrease slightly set at -20. Feel free to make more dramatic numbers for the decrease.

8 scripts are included, have a look around at them when you download

The problem is, you should be using positive numbers, not negative. Negative will make you more accurate. Also, you might want to use plrsprinting and plrwalking instead of plrmoving, as that appears to be glitched. I'll work on fixing that one.

@everyone:
Also, for the weapon buy script, make sure you put that as the main script for whatever weapon you want to buy.

I just tested, my underwater reflection and refraction work fine, but holy crap the bloom is strong. I'll fix that up.

I have done more testing, the bloom isn't too strong because of my code, I tested out stock version and it did this also. For now, just lower your bloom level, I have a fix for this already, but because of other things that I am adding, the mod isn't in a state where I can just release an update with the fix. Once I have the mod in a stable condition, I will make another update with new features and the fix to the bloom problem.

@speed monster.

make sure you have x10.1 on your computer. make sure you go up through nthe progressive stages of updates. then if it still lags its either

a) too much stuff at once on the map for your computer to handle quickly. thus slowing down as too many items to calculate

b) not a good enough graphics card and will need 8800 or above on nvidia, an important bit is a good sized memory with the card. as most of the action happens there.

ok go online first.
turn off your firewalls for this. including microsoft defender.
once that is done load up x10.
at the top of the page is help, click it, there you will find check for updates. also on your orders page in login you will find bloodpacks and ragdolls. you need to load that in too.

anyway thats where you update.

Drop the bank and money scripts in a trigger zone. Put the weapon buy as the main script for the weapon

i found a bug in multiplayer when you put a door down and hover over it it says the door is static(yes im using use door from segments area)

Hey I have a question, not that it necessarily needs to be implemented or anything but is it theoretically possible to lower the hardware requirements of FPSC X10 as part of a mod? Stuff like bloom, normal/specular maps, reflection/refraction don't require DX10 and since those are the main features of X10, you'd think it could work on DX9...
