I don't really have a favorite, but if I had to choose, I think it would be Ed, Edd 'n Eddy or Rocket Power. What was your favorite?

The old Tom and Jerry cartoons where good, plenty of good old fashioned violence. Must be about 13 years or more since I actually watched them on the old cartoon network channel, before they changed it and started making their own toons.

I don't care for the new TMNT, though.

Transformers and TMNT were my favourite watching them now makes me feel like I was a retard back then lol . I also used to like Come Outside () and Tom and Jerry. Look at me now, I can't stand any programs usually, unless they have gore and violence which'll probably explain my approach to the SAW saga not being gory enough LMAO .

Hands down my favorite cartoon growing up was Tom & Jerry. No dialog was ever really needed for the show, and it still makes me smile when I watch it

Although before Tom & Jerry, I grew up on Sesame Street. The old school sesame street

Damn, that one episode gave me nighmares! I don't remember the episode now really, but it was still scary. Not as scary as... MORSO!!!!

The one in the right! That guy gave me nightmares! The scariest children's show ever!
Just watch this and don't tell me you are not scared of that thing! Or that you wouldn't have been as a kid... anyway, that was one creepy children's show! Altho it was not a cartoon.

The Rupert the Bear cartoon series (the early 90s one, not the recent one). Used to watch that every evening when I got home from school. I mean you just can't beat a bear flying in a aeroplane and other random stuff. Also looking back, under the happy exterior some of the episodes were pretty screwed up

Oh and you can't beat Hey Arnold either. All the other shows I watched when I was younger look very dull and childish looking back, but Hey Arnold is probably the only one I could actually watch a full episode of, even now. Kids show but it had some decent serious topics considering its target audience

TMNT, Thundercats, and Voltron (lions) were my favorite as a kid. A little later you had X.O. Squad, Pirates of Darkwater(i have on dvd), X-Men (not that new stupid one), and, for a short time, Silver Surfer back in the early to mid-90s.

Other cartoons I found amusing were Ren & Stimpy, Earthworm Jim, Eek the Cat, Two Stupid Dogs and C.O.P.S. When I was real little, I like the Gummi Bears.

Those were the most memorable shows, but I grew up watching all those 80s Hanna-Barbara cartoons and other shows on USA. Jabber Jaws, Captain Caveman, Quick Draw McGraw, Smurfs, Jetsons, Yogi Bear, Flintstones, Johnny Quest (almost forgot that one!), Grape Ape, Hong Kong Phooey, Herculoids, Jem(my sister loved it), GI Joe, Snorks, Muppet Babies, GoBots (admit it, you watched them too), Tiny Toons, Rescue Rangers, Ducktales, Tailspin, SWAT Kats, Biker Mice from Mars, and let's not forgot Space Ghost (before he went coast to coast). I think there was a show with the Flintstones as babies too.

Not sure when these came out, but I thought they were very good however weird they were:
Phantom 2040, Aeon Flux, Reign the Conqueror.

And.... in case anyone wanted to know, Jonny Quest movie (zac efron as jonny, Rock as Race), the Smurfs(Neil Patrick Harris, Jeff Foxworthy, Katy Perry), and Hong Kong Phooey are all scheduled to be released sometime in the next 2 years.

On TV.. Johnny Quest, Bugs Bunny Roadrunner Hour, Space Ghost, and Popeye were my favorites growing up.

For Comic Books.. Richie Rich, Rawhide, Sargent Rock and many of the Classic Comics.

Yes I'm old, but that only means I have more fond memories to choose from.

Cheers!

I had hundreds of the richie rich comics. Was always a fan of Johnny Quest. Barba Papa always freaked me out. Roger Ramjet was a weird one as well but pretty darned funny. Looking back the Jackson 5 cartoon was really creepy. Still a huge cartoon fan.

Ulysses 31, Thunderbirds 2086 (2 years after Robotron!), Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, Dungeons and Dragons, Bots Master, Droids, Mighty Max, Mask, Pole Position, Thundercats. Mysterious Cities was awesome. I don't remember too much but they had a giant golden condor spaceship. How cool is that?

Looking back, most of these were a bit balls, and the cartoons these days are actually much better. Theme tunes aren't though.

Also She Ra was hot.

Oh yeah Aeon Flux.

Walker: Texas Ranger.

What? That's not a cartoon? NOOOOO!

No really, I watched all episodes of Tom n Jerry, I watched Ed Edd and Eddy. Not much else.

I remember I didn't watch those as often as Pokemon though, which canceled out some of my intrest for cartoons. But if you don't like Tom n Jerry, no matter how old you are, you should make sure you don't have brain damage. It's sad what I recently found the dusty remains of the Pokemon show as.

But you can't ignore the good ol Pokemon games that everyone used to play. Now days every third person that has it uses Action Replay or Gameshark (if thats for DS, I wouldn't know)

I remember me and my friends having both Diamond and Pearl, being bored, we hacked Pearl untill we got every legendary, a hell load of master balls, and walking through walls (including the Elite 4!)and on water, which means we HAD to go into the restricted death zone.

Then finally the hours of fun ended when we ran into a Missingo and the DS exploded.

THE END

My most favorite cartoon has to be Thundarr the Barbarian.

Yeah the characters were knockoffs of Luke Skywalker (Thundarr) and his light saber (Thundarrs Sun Sword), Princess Leia (Princess Ariel), and Chewbacca (Oookla). But it was the one and only post-apocalyptic cartoon ever to be made and to this day I still love all post-apocalyptic movies even the bad B-movies.

I forgot a cartoon, Widget the World Watcher.

There was also a series of other cartoons that would be on Saturday morning, Tiger Sharks, Silver Hawks, Street Frogs, and Karate Kat.

Do you mean Filmation's Ghostbusters? Those were pretty good.

I have to say the original G.I Joe, back in mid 80's.
I remember watching the "Pacman" cartoon (early 80's), "Silverhawks", "Thundarr the Barbarian"(awesome), "Dennis the Menace", "G-Force". Those were pretty good.
The weirdest one yet is "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes".
