Story:(not yet the full version but something at least)

The game story is settle out of the letters written by the only survivor in the hotel, through cutscenes and hallucinations.

Wondering: what will happen next? How i can get out of here? Will I ever get home?

Claiming your self: this is all my fault. Why did I ever leave home. I had better reasons to stay.

This is really a big project so it will take a long time(Biggest project i have ever had)
I'm trying make this game to be as good and scary as possible.

Description:
Phobia 2 is like the first one. But its longer, harder and scarier.
If you liked the first one, you sure will like this one too.
Phobia 2 is placed in old hotel. It was build somewhere in 1800s.
The game itself located in Century 1981. The same snow storm strikes again. And the survival horror begins. There is no way out and monsters lurking behind every corner.

A quick sketch (updated) of the main character, Edward Norman(I tought of something not so over used like Jack or John.(Same with the first Phobia).

The look of Edward isn't the basic over used muscular, short black haired man(like in most of the movies and games).
Edward is an ordinary man, Blonde haired and no super hero.
He got no chance to fight agains the monsters...

UPDATED SCREENS!!! I wanted to make the whole hotel to be more old style. Now it really is old styled and like Edward said in the beginning of a game "I would never sleep here voluntarily."
Because it really is creepy...
(Phobia 2 is finally getting his own style)

The first screen is amazing! Yay Finland! But the story... Maby you could do it like, someone outta town just came to this new town, he is gonna drive by, but decides to sleep over the night. He chooses this hotel, but when he goes in, he realizes that the hotel is abandoned and the way out is blocked by... I don't know, some ghost. Force. Something. Just a suggestion.

Nope, no, no, no I couldnt take the first one it scares the HE double hockey sticks out of me! This one looks even scarier. But you are a great game maker and honestly I think you deserve BOTB!

I already have somekind of beginning story. But its still wip.
Yes hes drive bying and decides to stay at night. I add it when i have I invented it entirely.

Thanks! in mostly i use original model packs in this one.(ww2 and scifi) But i maybe add some more when the game is almost finished.
But like in the first one, all textures retextured.

I think you should make this game and then submit it for BOTB I never beat the last one because I had no idea how to get in the attic because there were like 5 of those things. But yes I want to see how this one plans out.

excellent job! my only question is if this hotel was built in the 1800's, and it looks abandoned too, why are there still lights on in the rooms?

yes it was build in 1800's but it isnt abandoned. The hotel is still in use. They even rebuild some things in it. Like elevators and electric lock and stuff. And the horrible things happened only few days before the player came. Ill add some story when finished it.

When I watched the trailer my expression went from all the way to the . Your game is really Resident Evilish and that makes this game number one in my must play list. I don't care if the graphics aren't the best for FPSC game, it's the gameplay which makes the game great and yours is just like that: Average graphics with awesome gameplay. I'm gonna download Phobia 1 ASAP.

Looking nice so far. A few things I'd like to say:

1. Get someone english to proof read and fix the text. I can already see spelling mistakes.

2. One criticism about the trailer is that everything is looking VERY VERY similar to Phobia 1. This isn't necessarily bad, but bare in mind that samey environments will become boring.

3. Something you should consider is creating some audio tracks of FPSC sounds - doors opening, closing, footsteps etc. If you played these are certain points in the level they would seem quite disconcerting. I'd happily make you them (I am studying to be a sound engineer) if you'd like. Get back to me, my email is:

Yeah there might be some spelling mistakes. But ill try to fix them when the game is nearly finished.

Yes the game is using same original model packs like phobia. Cause i got some build game problems so i got very limited model pack use.

Hmm. Dont know... I like the original door sounds and player footsteps sounds good because i made it so slow. But i gotta think about this

Yeah, thanks. The game is looking litte bit simple with the original model packs. The game was originally using metro theater pack. But then i got too much build game problems i decidet to use mostly original packs. That is a big jump from the cool metro theater pack to original ww2 and scifi. But still this project is lot of better than the previous one with metro theater pack.

What a shame. One great creator pirates model packs. I'm sorry to say that but i was looking bonds videos on youtube then I goed to another video and accidentally I arriwed to video (You know what) I saw you commenting there and asking modelpack 2 becouse of toilets. I don't want to do this, but I have to. I have sent that video link to Nick. What a shame.

Yeah. Im really out of money. But im giving a free copy of this game to bond1 and all whos deserves it. Then ill buy the model packs. The guy was only helping me out. Thats the other reason im not using lot of custom model packs in this project. I didnt mean to steal enything or do anything wrong. I will certainly replace all this.
I am honest person and ill keep my word. Just lets see how this project goes.

I have now added all the model packs and stuff what i need to the basket.
Now i'll just neet to borrow some money. The final cost is something like 90Euros. It's a hell of a money, but i feel a lot of better after i got the non pirated model packs. Now if i could continue this project? This is one big project and one great game when finished even if i say so myself.

I really was going to buy the model packs some day...
Hope this sad incident will not ruin anything.
Even trough i used Penumbra music and sounds in first Phobia.
Frictional Games favorited the Phobias trailer and said theyre going to play it when Amnesia is ready.
And the game making has always interested me and hope i do it for work someday.
Hope the mods forgive me

I got some buildgame problems, but i finally fixed them, so far.
(some strange error messages when trying to build...) Not the first time with this project or some other projects. But Phobia 2 development will continue. Already done 7 levels...(But they all need some fixing tough)

I updated my fpsc to v.1.17. Now the only error message so far, is when trying to launch the game. But it can be avoided by launching the game as administrator. I think this is only with windows7 users.
(The game may look diffrent now cause v.1.17 have bloom effect)

Interesting game and over all good look in the screenshots, but you have a few texture errors that detract the eye rather badly

Old storage room: That wall end needs UV mapping rather than let the wall face mappping just stretch across it.

You also seem to to be using the emboss tool in your image editor to give a 3D feel to your textures and it really does not work
It just gives that horrible white highlight effect (walls and floor tiles etc) on anything lumpy/bumpy and as can be seen in the bathroom, your your tiles have protruding grout.

The toilet cistern also has texture stretching on the sides.

Still your obviously learning as you go, so keep at it

Yeah. I noticed the effect looks good in some of the models. I'll try to fix the bad looking textures.
And all the screens are w.i.p so I'll maybe add some new entitys cause v.1.17 doesnt seems to have build game problems.

I gotta start over some of the retexturing work because some of them were intendet so they wouldnt shine in the dark. But v1.17 fixed it so now they are just too dark.
