The posters are edited versions of original World War II era Russian propaganda posters.
And thanks for the response!

Awesome Just Awesome

Note: in the screenshot with the 3 posters, the segment above the door doenst seem to be seamless, meaning they dont match (bottom/top)
Just a tip

PekelaarSFX,I noticed that two.
Also,I have decided that I'm going to make a demo of the second level instead, because it's more interesting IMO.

Cheers and criticism is more than welcomed!

Mmm. The Makarov is awesome. Maybe retexture the hand to make your weapons even more customized?

In the third last screenshot: Have you thought about making the poster meshes more interesting? Like ripped from the bottom or something like that. Could give a nice extra touch

Overall, this looks really great!

Oh that's good news then , as that is what stops me making levels as entities because the AI tends to just walk/run on the spot on entity floors (or just about anything that is not a full segment floor)

Nice work on the posters, I have plenty of other WWII posters, if you still need some. Most of them from Germany, but some US and USSR posters are among them, too.

Come to where the madness is:

I would love to see the USSR posters,Ertlov!

Ok,I'm planning on making the 3rd level a sort of a rail shooter, where you travel in a mining cart on some tracks to the end of the level and I'm asking if anyone know's where can I get a mining cart?

Cheers!

I like the new screenies, the 1st of them reminds me of that level in "Wanted: weapons of fate" I think it was called.

Thank you!

I'm making a PPSh model but I think it would be better to ask if anyone know's where I could get a good PPSh-41 model which I really need for the finall climax in the second level, because let's just say you won't be killing many enemies with a pistol...

But just for the fun of it I attached a picture of my PPSh in the works (only the wooden stock has been done so far)

It's been a long time since an update, maybe too long .
Anyway,in the past day or two I started playing Blue Shift and got some very nifty idaes and inspiration.I also FINALLY found out (mostly by my self and the community guide) how to do a proper dead body, you'll see that in the screens too.
I must warn you that these screens are, very, very, very WIPish....
So keep that in mind.

Still looking good Zay! I like how you use entities for walls rather than segments

Nice and gruesome

The obvious seems on the rock walls in a lot of the scenes ruins them somewhat though

Also the floor seems so clean looking considering the fight that must have happened. (I know it has a grungy texture, but it's the same floor in all the scenes, plus still looks too uniform and clean)

Maybe make some scratch, dirt and damage overlays for it and scatter about a bit ??

You've forgotten the illuminationmap on that lantern in the last screen again Everything's looking awesome though, not much criticism except for the obvious seams in the rocks.

Yup I likey

makes me think of RE5 mixed with Halo 2
Also nice to see someone who knows how to place lights to good effect ^_^
One of my pet hates (and something seen in soooo many WIP's) is lights with no light source, or even worse lightsources that in no way look like they provide any light (i.e. zero illumination map)
Even getting over the top light sources that glare like halogens and provide the light of a small flashlight >_<
