Hey all,

I just got back from PAX, and I'm glad to not be on my feet! I entered a raffle when I was there, for $10, which I *never* do because I never win. However, this is a good cause, which helps support the US troops with videogames, and since my brother-in-law is in Afghanistan for the Canadian military, I thought that it's a worthy cause to get a ticket.

I WON! I got taken around and had tons of pictures taken with all these people and models, and got interviewed, etc.

It's a sweet Xbox 360 that was modded to a Hummer. It's got a screen on the back so you can play it portably, and a customized air cooling system. You swipe your finger on a touch sensor and it lights up. It's the coolest system I've ever seen, and will make a great addition to my console collection

Looks even more likely to blow up than an ordinary 360, but you can hardly complain for $10.

I'd love to see things from your point of view but I can't get my head that far up my bum.

The thing is pretty big.. 3 feet long. It is bigger than it looks in the pic. Once it's delivered I'll take some of my own pics.

What happens when the unavoidable red ring does happen? There should be a wired-up car alarm or something. (Unless the xbox starts to smoke, that's an added realism bonus)

Physically incapable of red ringing only because they removed the lights tbh

@ Aaagreen

Calm the fuzzsho down my friend... I am pretty sure you have a PlayStation 3 or sumthin like that IDK but lets not talk about a thing that happens once xD Its only to a new x-box. You always seem to bash an X-Box thread... I know there is a war between PS3 and X-Box 360 but just say its cool looking ok???

So says the guy who would take this sweet Hummer, gut out the 360, and make it into a PC case. I don't understand why some people are so vehemently against MS that they wouldn't even take a FREE kickass looking mod Either that or it's jealousy? Console wars are so old and tired, and only relegated to those who don't have enough money to get all the consoles and a PC.

Good for you. I'm a collector so I like to collect every and all consoles. I might eventually give this one to my brother-in-law who is serving in Afghanistan right now, but who knows.

It'd be daft having a 360 if it could only play on that tiny screen, so I'd assume though.

I don't think it matters really, there aren't enough titles which actually output at higher resolutions than 720p. Unless you're a fan of Virtua Tennis 3.

EDIT: Thinking about it, playing the thing is hardly an option anyway. It won't fit on a shelf, or your standard entertainment unit, and you'd need a completely empty coffee table or similar if you wanted to play it on the small screen. It's about as impractical as a free kickass mod gets.

My X-Box 360 plays on a huge TV but it really matters what kind of cord you have actually.

Well if you have your TV on a big long table like I do, you can have it sitting on that, next to the TV and all your other bits and bobs, and still quite easily have it playing on your TV.

Sigh. You sit on the hummer! Stick a butt pad on it and your good to go. Or have it beside you on the shelf.

Um, it's a freaking hummer that is meant to be placed on the floor. It has wheels so it's not a heat problem. It can be played on either the tiny display or an HDTV or both. I don't need any special table or case for it, so Aaagreen, it's not impractical in the slightest.

The same could be said for anything you might buy. A 47" LCD would be impractical in a small house too. I live in a 1-bedroom condo at the moment and this thing fits just fine.

But you didn't really buy this, it was a sort of unlikely bonus for paying extra at an awesome games festival.

What's your point, and why do you care so much to try to bring me down about winning this? Yes, you are a PC fanboy, I got it. Well, guess what, it's practical for ME with my living space, and with my collection. Period.

This fanboyism is getting rather annoying, there seems to be a rise of it on this forum recently.

But hey, who gives a crap what they think? You can play Halo on your freaking hummer! Let them moan and cry, you're the one with the cool 360 mod, so you're in the position to sit there and laugh at their stupid comments.
