Very nice indeed, I've always thought those two were the perfect combination for the Blues

Even though I don't play myself, I've still got a pretty good idea of what sounds good and those two together definately sound good!

My PC desk is sat unused. My actual computer is connected to TV.

I have a bookcase at the foot of my bed, and I adjusted the shelves to fit the 21" monitor/TV. I also connected my gamecube, xbox, xbox 360, N64 and PS1, and keep the games above and below.

So basically, I compute while lying on my memory foam mattress (the charity guys gave me this for free!). Why sacrifice comfort for PC gaming? (Or, in my case, almost any type of gaming)

I'll take a photo if there's enough interest.

I'd love to see things from your point of view but I can't get my head that far up my bum.

In my case, I had an flat screen, but when I moved halfway across the US(From Missouri to Oregon), I was only able to afford to ship my tower after myself....donated my flat screen to my brother. My dad gave me one of various CRTs he had lying around.

Here's mine. I always keep it tidy, for the most part. I don't work too well when there's a bunch of junk cluttering my workspace.

CRTs are a dime a dozen, high-def, and bigger for the money.

That said, I've switched to flatscreen about a year or two back

don't get them from the attic then? good CRTs are crystal clear and you get more value for your money, not to mention the colour looks the same from every angle

Agree'd. I use 2 CRTs. ones rather cheap and rubbish, the other is a hp pavillion and while not as big, is far better quality than and LCD I can get for that price.

Or the tidiest. I've stepped into plenty of student rooms, including my old one...terrible. However...in the few months I've stopped being a student my room is...amazingly tidy, what's up with that?

Mine? No, it IS an optical mouse, though. The most legendary mouse ever made, and the only one I'll use. It's the Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0. I have a drawer full of spares in case one ever fails.

This is the second re-release of this mouse, it's that good. This version is pearl-white with black accent and a red led light. It's beautiful - it looks like something made by Aperterture Science.

Ahh! Not the monitor, anything but the monitor! That was gift to myself earlier this year. It's a Lacie 324, a professional IPS monitor, the colors are superb. And there's no brightness gradient at all, it makes judging color and lighting SO much easier.

I pieced together my setup over several years - I take pride in my ergonomics and workflow. I bought the Spacepilot when it was first released, and it has been my secret weapon for 3D modeling for many years now.

Hum, here's my little corner of the world where I find peace and satisfaction. Here I can be myself and make what my heart desires. It's not very high tech, but it suits my needs pretty good. Once I have a litte more money, I'll buy me a new one, though.

This room isn't very big, so I had to put everything in the closet. I took the closet doors off a couple years ago, they were just getting in the way.

Hey bond1, what speakers are those? They look like a set I almost bought this year.

They're website says its an S-PVA panel. But do you get any ghosting on that monitor?

Here's my old desk:

You'll have to wait til monday for me to post a pic of my current desk. My old one doesn't quite fit in my current place because I don't have a spare bedroom anymore. I had to buy a smaller desk and store this in the basement.

I'll take a pic of mine, but it's sterile in comparison with your lots. I have a habit of always cleaning unwanted crap away, be it files, paper, or stuff on my desk - just gets in the way IMO...

Veeery executive setup by the way Bond, that chairs looks pretty comfy...
