Quote: "Also know that gear means bullcrap at this stage in the game. We've had people around in Ulduar gear which still performed just fine in raids. Knowing your class and what to do is far more important then having some fancy average item level."

that depends, Proff Putricide is pure gear boss, all about DPS for example.

Quote: "You'd be surprised by the amount of jokes we toss about on Ventrilo during raid nights, Hardcore raiding is not getting yelled at and being a complete arse, it's just more often.. longer and there's a more serious look on progression around.

sort of liek my raid guild then? or the one i WAS in, we raided wed-fri and mon - tuesday, since we didnt want to get in the way of weekend parties and such^^ ahh the memories^^

Quote: "Their chance has been around ever since we got a 30% buff to EVERYTHING, if you can't get past him now there's something awfully wrong with your raid setup and the people in it. Hell, we've 10 manned the entire raid on a night with ToC alts."

was more or less talking about those who doesnt raid much, the more casual players.

I'd say Blood Queen is a better example of a DPS race fight, but I get your point there.

As for raid days, I'm used to clearing ICC10 on Wednesday, or Heroic 10man on Wednesday/Friday, Saturday was the start for ICC25(heroic), then monday and tuesday to finish it off. (8pm to midnight) While we often cleared it all before the end of the raid times we specified we kept those times, to do Ruby Sanctum, or the older raids for fun afterwards But yeah, I see your point in not wanting to get in the way of weekend activities, there were numerous people in the guild that were always unable to come on Friday/Saturday due to real life activities.

And in my opinion the Casual players have also gotten their chance, it's possible to clear ICC10 man within a few hours for a proper raid guild, so casuals should be able to do so in an entire week as well.(In my opinion anyways, then again I'm not very familiar with the casual playstyle)

the casual players, with those i mean those whom has no guild, and dont play way to much, and if u dont have a guild and join in a pug, which doesnt get finished, then the odds are high u have to wait a week

I have always and will always prefer 10man raids, since in 10man you have 10 really tight people doing stuff and you have way more controle, aside from 25 where there is usually no controle and sure "it is a guild run everyone know each other" yes, BUT, then there is 25 people trying to get their point through and it is simply a mess, and you dont get this whole "tight community feeling"

I agree with this, whilst some encounters are more fun on 25 man, you never get the feel of the team right.
