You just lost a bit of respect in my book.

Regardless, I don't follow football. Not to mention, I don't really like the Steelers or Penguins (I'm from Pittsburgh), I'm a fan of San Jose Sharks and I don't have a favorite football team, football is boring. Too slow, too little happening.

Anyway, I did catch the game last night, and generally the Packers deserved to win. The Steelers played like crap.

O man, rugby players get hurt a lot more though. I've got a friend in france who is only in high school but has major back issues from playing. He can't do much physical activity anymore. Thee football player get hit worse, but have very nice padding.

I'm more into raquet sport to be honest. I've always found invasion sports a bit too primal. I prefer the dodgy weavy thinky action.

Ultimate Fighting championship(UFC) is my favorite sport to watch. There is much more tactics and skill then some people think. And usually has good sportsmanship. A guy is elbowing this guy in his face and the third round ends, so they do a slight bow and hug, "Good Fight!". It takes a lot of respect for the other fighter and the sport to do that. And people around the world participate! Nobody really owns the sport, its been done in every culture.

Why do people insist on singing the national anthem with like 1 person whose like "AWWH IM SUCH A GREAT SINGERRRR!!!"

ANY anthem is supposed to be something that everyone sings, not a spectator thing. At that point you're taking your hats off to christina aguilera, not the country.

"America" is not a country song...it's actually a re-write of the British song, "God Save the Queen"...It was used as the National Anthem Until the "Star Spangled Banner" was adopted.
