I am compiling a list of games/apps made in DBP / GDK. I want to make sure I haven't missed any obvious ones that really should be included in a countdown of the best games from this community.

So if you can recount any really good games please let me know. I have a list of over 70 already, so don't be surprised if your recollections are already accounted for. If you have a link to the game then that would be even better.

I am not including FPSC games simply because there are hundreds of them, and the good, bad and ugly will be down to personal opinion.

Thanks in advance!

Can we see the list you've got so far so we don't end up just repeating the same names over and over? xD

games by billy777 are seriously under-rated and deserve more attention than they've attracted as they reek of quality:
society of the serpent moon WIP
lost city of vampires
you'll need to contact him to find what (else) from his website is DBC/DBP made (maybe all?)

speaking of under-rated: Dego was highly anticipated but seemed to lose its audience during development.

sunday panzers should not be discounted by its age as "fun" is timeless (i know ermes released ESF recently but it's one i haven't played yet). site here for more plus one sunday-esque WIP, UphoMania, is promising similar fun from ermes.

you said "games" so i'm assuming full/complete games vs demos/unfinished? unfortunately, SO MANY solid starts for splendid games here have never seen full PA release... it's a terrible shame.

Thanks, I'd forgotten about Sunday Panzers, and wasn't aware of Billy777. Anything Starwraith has been accounted for (naturally!) and if it's on AppUp, I think I've got it.

You'll see them in the next newsletter, I won't spoil it before then.

Never heard of this one. But the title alone makes it a must play for me

Thanks again, a few I have missed there. I remember Ragdoll monkey bowling, one of the first examples of physics in DBP by Walaber. I remember reporting on Carnage and Spitfire Maverick. Rooms Wars reminds me that I never found the link to that competition (Alienware?) which would include Operation Invasion Evasion , or the compo for Snake and Rail games.

if you forgot panzers, i'll mention helios and whatever else geecee3 might have conjured up.

since we're doing demos or smaller games, too, i'll add muddleglum's top gear test track sim. it was a favorite of mine at the time (which accounts for my multiple posts there)

And I think this game I made is worthy enough

"Which" is awesome! I still like to play it in the dark... Mike's game that is...

I'd like to shamelessly self promote my games which may have been missed!
The Last Stand
Search-Lite
Soma
Leapfrog
Backlash
Odd Blox
Hell for Leather

Also (by ButterFingers):
Cloud Ranger
Air Heads which featured on The Gadget Show (great UK TV show)

I feel inclined to promote Soup as well just because it was the only decent game Soharix ever finished and people still do refer to it in threads and discussions when comparing it to other games.

(I suppose if you wanted another one for the list you could put Zone up there, but it's not exactly anything special. - It's also using Comic Sans MS so I don't even like it anymore. )

(Everything else we're known for hasn't been finished. xD (MTM, Vision, Mamo, WOR))

Thanks for putting Soup in the newsletter then... - snot like it was made in DBP or had a paragraph in issue 88 or anything...

Cheers for the recognition there, really makes me feel proud to have made a complete game for once.
