Well lol 'd lol lol

Call of duty Targets monthly fees

Now there will of course be a huge experience difference for F2p and subscribers. Roll out the troll wagon's, since whenever you play you'll have that brat with the 'oh im better cause i pay more than you attitude' along with the normal crap. Not to mention map packs are no longer a one off buy. So the pretty much just walked up to there user base and screwed them over.

Outstanding.

I lol'd. You can tell it's not a gaming newspaper.

One thing I hate in games is money buying superiority. TF2 found a great niche where you can buy weapons rather than earning them like a man, but the weapons are all fairly balanced, so it's not breaking the game for money.

Because nine times out of ten, people will play another game rather than shell out a monthly fee to catch up.

It's $10 on Steam and goes on sale for $2.50 a few times a year. Worth it either way!

At first, the store update for TF bothered me because it was the first time something actually costed money in the game. But Valve is possibly the total opposite of Activision. It's amazing the amount of content they've added to their games after release, particularly team fortress. So, they deserve some money by adding a store. Also, I like the fact that nothing in the store cannot be obtained without paying.

Yeh, it's not like the only way to get the items is to pay, it's just a quicker way of getting them than working for them.
