Yeah, I think even Rockstar know that San Andreas is much more respected, not that theres anything wrong with GTA4 - it's still the most technically impressive city game... we're all just keen to see how cool the engine will make San Andreas now.
I used to get lost in the game with SA, like I'd be cruising along, then spot some rival gang in the distance, so I'd plan my attack - spent absolutely ages doing the gang wars. Or I'd be practically dead, trying to get home, while rival gangs or cops are chasing me, on my little pink chopper bike.
It reminded me of those early 90's persuit films, like Trespass, and Judgment Night, or even the old classic Warriors. Mostly, the first half of the game at least felt like you had a neighborhood, and you'd figure out the fastest ways to get home, and it was a damn good rush to be chased there
