Admit it Jeku. You still have shirts like that in your wardrobe. I'd bet a whole English pound on that fact.

Were hypercolor t-shirts from the 90s... I remember having one.. and hating it because people kept touching me to make it change colour.

Then & Than
THAN: Unlike then, than is not related to time. Than is used in comparative statements.
THEN: Then is used either as a time marker or with a sequence of events.

I was born in the early 80's and lived my teen years in the 90's. It was "my time" so to speak. The music was awsome, there were breakthroughs in style that were just mindblowing, especially in my favourite genre of the time (hard rock/metal)

Nirvana drove me to become a musician and no other musical experience I have ever had comes even close to being a child, looking at the tv screen at a dancing janitor in a tutu and just being left stunned in awed silence at what I was hearing.

I't was the time of System of a downs gold years (self-titled to toxicity)

slipknot entered the scene. say what you want about them, they were ground breaking and brilliant.

hed(pe)'s gold years

The last of pantera's best work GSTK ruled

too many awesome bands are flooding back to me now and I have to leave it there out of decency for the reader.

incidently the 90's spelled the demise of Metallica which was sad, I really like them then(can't listen to Metallica anymore)
That and you could still buy cassette tapes at the music stores.

VCRS!!!!! <-RIP
High speed tape dub with realtime audio aka chipmunk mode.

Game wise

Quake, GTA, T.I.M riven,half-life, a great time for game developement.

a time before mobile phones and digital cameras(very rare and expensive if there were any).

I remember that you could reset an entire network of computers by rubbing your shoes on the carpet and zapping the keyhole on the front of the computer.

The introduction to g.u.i interfaces on computers.

the first cd burners where burning a cd required you to leave the computer alone for a long time. even accessing the start menu was asking for a dud disk. write x2,rw x1.

two 4 gig hard drives giving me a monster 8 gig of hard drive space.

the internet wasn't widly used in my home town yet. we'd all heard of it and a few people had played around with it but it wasnt really useful for anything(so my understanding was)

Public liability wasn't heard of, if you slipped and fell, you were a dumbass and should watch where you are going.

super nintendo and sony playstation. Tony hawk skating.

The 90's are a very nostalgic time for me.

but no way in hell id go back there.

YES! I even had one or two of the toys. Wasn't Pokemon in the 90s as well?

speaking of 90s games, the other day i picked up a copy of the original Max Payne PC game (i know its 2001 but the garaphics and the overall game have has a 90s feeling to it) and it has become one of my most favorite games of all time! This game has many elements of the 90s games that i really love. for example levels are long (i noticed that many modern games the levels feel kinda short), also the old fashion manual saving (i got so used to autosaving in games that i had to reteach myself to save every once in a while lol or when i die i go back to the beginning of the level. The storyline wanst the best but the pasing and the buildup of the conflict was done vaery well and the whole game actually feels very long. (most modern games i played feel shorter). And of course the actual Max Payne gameplay was so fun and addictive, that i would often die on purpose just so i can replay the last part and try to look more awesome and badass while killing dudes. Unlike many games, that i foret over time, this one will definatley stay in my head. Its also pretty amazing looking for a 2001 game considering they didnt use shaders (maybe they did its just barley notice if its a shader or a texture.

dont hate people who rip you off, cheat and get away with it, learn from them

maybe serous sam or q3 may have had the first shaders, shaders never meant much during that era as they were un heard of. but serious sam fits the bill q3 had reflection on the weapon. close up map filters were experienced on soldier of fortune and serious sam. merit could go either way so far as I remember...
