Yes, the idiots can be pretty amazing sometimes. We actually had one tank who'd engage knowing the healer was miles behind and then proceeded to call the healer a noob for not healing him.

Or again, another tank (druid) and I was playing my Alliance Druid as healer, he doesn't manage to keep threat - fine, understandable, it happens, with me dead he doesn't realise as a druid that he has a revive spell, I tell him he can use it to get me back up. Then he goes off and attacks more enemies instead, dies and instead of running back to revive himself as a ghost, he goes via the method of getting ressurection sickness. I know people can be new, but even then we gave the guy instructions. We kicked him of course, I mean you can't have a tank with ressurection sickness who doesn't listen to other players.

But as far as people losing tempers and going into rages, only ever seems to happen in PvP...then, well, I might troll them a little. I usually go by the argument that once you start calling people noobs then your team is guaranteed to lose.

Lol, that's something I got to look forward to, but I doubt it's as bad as doing group stuff in FFXInline, once you get through all of the bosses in endgame it becomes very dull and repetitive and spending hours upon hours of actually not doing anything in particular to get pieces of powerful armour and some powerful weapons.

I'll code this, because it's pretty long and not related to WoW, but something that probably ought to show that WoW isn't necessarily as bad as some other MMORPGs as far as "you're wasting your life". One thing I like about WoW is that the game isn't 'grind to the highest level and play the game' because that grind has you doing plenty and you don't feel you have to be a high level to get involved with anything with other players.

sadly wow is like that...
get through all raiding stuff in Heroic and then there isnt much to the game other than farming the raids for gear until the next bosses come out.. (atleast they release new raids from time to time^^)

Aye, but I'm sure it's not as bad as it is in the bit I wrote in code. I'll but it in shorter terms to eliminate that wall of text.

Kill 8 or 9 Lottery Spawn Monster 3 or 4 times.
Lottery Spawn: Spawns once every 2 hours...or maybe every 24 hours, but 2 hours minimum.
Monster: Like fighting a really low level elite in WoW.

Enter Voidwatch - tournament of fighting bosses. Requires a team.

There's 5 bosses (iirc). You need to kill each 5 or 6 times. These bosses are only in certain stages of the tournament, 2nd stage, which I suppose is a little kind of them. Of course, Voidwatch teams aren't small and you have to shout for them or find people in your Linkshell (aka Guild) to team up.

Then. Enter the Abyssea Realm (an alternate dimension). You will have to get 50 of 1 item. This item will drop from forced-spawn boss monsters, who require a team of 5 or 6 decent people to defeat, probably 5 or 6 people looting for the same item. This item will drop 1 or 2 times IF you score a 'yellow trigger'. That can only be done by selective classes, so to guarantee a yellow trigger you will specially a Ninja, Black Mage, White Mage, Blue Mage and a Bard, luckily, because of the 'subjob' system, Ninja and Bard can be subjobs.

Forced spawn: you need to collect a selection of items to spawn the monster once. Some items might be easy, others might require a team.

Unlike dungeons in WoW, your team is competing with others for spawns/spawn points. Some have a maximum of 3 forced spawns at once, but most are just single.

Once you get 50 of that 1 item.

You need 50 of another item, but this time from the zone boss that drops it. Mine would have been a giant fish if I did it. These tends to be tougher and again, are forced spawn. These are fights that people can balls up, heck the last 50 has fights people can balls up.

That will only get you the first stage of the complete weapon, one where you will find it to be of any use. The third (level 95) stage apparently is a real nightmare and brought complaints to even people who didn't mind doing all the above to get their weapon to the first stage.

You can see why I quit soon after it got to end game. I would have liked my weapon, I was going to do it for my Corsair (see doing it for more than 1 would have been mental), but not really worth THAT many hours of work. I mean, think for the 'lottery spawn' stage alone you might be clocking 20+ hours, a guy in my linkshell he did it within 3 or 4 days...3 or 4 days of spending all day doing it.

I love tanking - it is a learning experience, you get to know dungeons plus more experienced players teach you if you aren't a p*ick about about it.

American Warfare is still in development - it is currently postponed until I build up the skill to complete it.

I guess I play WoW for the wrong reasons. I honestly think MoP looks beautiful and can't wait to do some exploring. If there's one thing that Blizz does right it's make pretty pictures.

As for end game, that's never really been a goal for me, though I've done many raids. I play on an RP server so it's always about the stories you experience and make. I've noticed there's a huge difference between RP and Normal realms when it comes to players. I've always felt like RP players were more mature and friendlier then on other realms.

Depends on your realm. Alleria is great and filled with helpful and nice people.

@ Josh Mooney: I was actually considering playing on an RP Server, however since the end game is more interesting to me (mostly because of the challange) It didnt happen..

Also i couldnt get any friends to play on an RP server seriously with me

Friends is exactly the reason I'm on Dramaspear, I did sign up on a PvP server, but on Dramaspear Horde always seems to lose.
