Hey uzi idiot just tried that shader you posted and it seemed to work but only on the shadows muzzleflash and blood not on everything also it seemed to flicker im currently trying to implement a shader with the advice you gave me but darkshader seems to freeze all the time

All you need to do is open the shader in notepad and lower the spec amount value.

By default it's at 1.4.

I've downloaded the shaders, and tried them all out - really amazing! Since I got really no idea of how to create a custom shader, I'm probably even more impressed - than I would be anyway!

Do you think you could combine the Lens Flare and Dirt shader with bond1s post-bloom? I think it's yet one of the best bloom effects available, and I believe it would turn out great combined with those battlefield 3 similar shaders you've made up there!

Would be awesome!

Ah awesome. Is it possible to make an underwater effect shader? I've seen it in some games, where the player's vision is distorted by the water, those slow moving wavey ripply lines, if you know what I mean?

If you could do that, I'd be very thankful.

Just rename it to refract.fx and put it in your postprocess folder (remember to back up the original)

Sorry for the double post,

was just wondering: Bond1 created that post-depth of field shader seperately from the bloom shader. Would it theoretically be possible to combine the depth of field with the bloom+lens shader?

I know it's not a 100% real depth of field shader, but like oftenly in FPSC, I'd be glad to have a start somewhere

The game crashes when I load the shader via triggerbox (renamed to multi.fx).

Just tried it out but there doesn't seem to be any motionblur - only bloom and colour :/

I suppose I could try to make it so that if you look up you see the splashes on you're screen and the more downward you look the more it scrolls.
I'm not sure how to get this effect but I'll try.

what is the refractor post fx? in the post fx shader folder? i noticed when i use it it kinda looks like rain drops on the screen 2 bad we cant run 2 post fx at the same time it would look sick with rain but i was wondering what it is?

Odd. I don't see why it shouldn't work.
Have you got the shader (the shader must be named to multi.fx to work), multi_1 and multi_2 textures in the folder effectbank\postprocess.


To get it to work in multiplayer just put :setposteffect=multi in your
setuplevel.fpi file.
