There's a difference between well-placed cover and cover that is simply too convenient to be feasibly placed there. For instance, the sandbags facing where I'm assuming is the next area are facing toward where the enemy would be. Why is this? Are they shooting their own guys here? And in reality, most of the time stacks of boxes wouldn't be scattered in an area. They'd be either all stack together off to the side, or all stacked together in a clump in the center. It's just what's practical.
