On to the crappiest part: Unwrapping :S

Big Daddy is going to be great. He looks just like how a boss-man should look. I'm going to make him really difficult to defeat.

I just recently started getting into FPSC modeling. I finished a 3DSmax intro course at college.

I can work on segments and entities and decals. I'm always not too bad at scripting. Could even throw in some HUDs. One thing however I'd love to be able to learn is how to create enemies with animations. Humanoid and not. I'm wondering if 3D studio max is a bad choice for this?

I'd love for someone to try and attempt this LOL

For this pack I can see what i can throw in if there is still time to put it together. Any predicted release date? Or is it ongoing?

Well the Big Daddy was modeled entirely in max... Personally I would go with Mudbox to do the high poly and paint the diffuse, then max to bake and for the low poly and either max or maya for the rig and anim. Unfortunately I only have student versions of Mudbox and maya so I tend to only use Max for stuff that I release.

Anayar

anayar: Looks great buddy! You did a great job with the mesh.

And before anyone jumps the gun, and starts complaining, Here again is the quote from Bond1 made on my Big daddy Dan thread...

Quote: "And you don't need a mods permission to post this, any more than I need permission to sell a model pack of zombies inspired by L4D.

As long as it's your own work, you could pretty much copy the design down to the last rivet if you wanted to..."

Teabone: This is starting to gain steam now, So it will stay up and running for awhile.

Cross Bones: That depends on how big it gets. I may have to split it up into parts if it's to large. For file transfer bandwidth reasons, it's sometimes better to have a few smaller downloads, than 1 really huge one. Some folks still use slower connections, and I try to accommodate everyone.

I'll let you know, Thanks.

I'd love to contribute to this, but I don't have the modelling skills. It doesn't hurt to try, so I think I'm going to try my hand at it, but I can't say for sure if it will turn out. At the most I can get the model done, but that's about it...

Well.... OK. No one has posted in a few days so I'll show a few more.

Here are some big wall fans, I kicked up the lighting a bit, so you can see them a little better in this shot....

And here's some floor gears. They look better on flat walls, but here ya go...

Check out the video, I'ts a little choppy recording on my laptop, but you can get the idea of what they look like. Hope to see some more posts soon my friends, Enjoy!. ----------------------------->

I have a couple more bots I have been working on . One is a steam powered guard dog and the other is a worker.

Funny thing though the worker bot was originally going to be a card dealer for a Steampunk casino that was going to make.

There were 1 or 2 people who said they were still working on some stuff. I would like to give them a chance to finish up before commiting to a set date.

I've tried to model individual clockwork robot extremities (an arm, a leg, a head), but I just don't have the modelling experience. Or any. Oh well. Best of luck with the pack, can't wait to see what comes out!

kingofmk98; Got it, Thanks.

Ok guys, "last call". If you have stuff still in the works, let me know soon. If not, I'm going to wrap this up over the weekend, and release it around the first of the week.

It's almost ready. I'm waiting on one final submission, and It's done.

Here is a few more shots of what can be made with this pack. Just testing some of the new stuff.
