So on an official note: thank you all very kindly! It's 6 am, so I should get some sleep. Dropping all the fun and games of the election, I guess I should start thinking about igniting my all that community related stuff I harped on about.

Would it be over the top if I were to ask a mod to change my name to 'Emperor Seppuku' for a year? I kid.

It's what happens when you're in a US guild on an MMO and they're short one man for a couple of raids. I know I could have said 'no', but I didn't want to let them down. I blame one of the previous presidents, Mattrock, it's his guild.

Whilst it may be fun, I think I'll keep it Seppuku Arts.

Correction:
Quote: "It will be extreme fun to make it Emporor Seppuku."

Actually I suppose I butchered up the original sentence quite a bit! Oh well.

Hey, we won! Congrats on presidency, Mr. Seppuku. I'm glad I could assist you on your road to power. May we rape and pillage many villages during our reign as father and son! Err, I mean, President and Vice-President! I've already started gathering the wenches and wine to celebrate the victory, my Seppuku-sama. Will there be anything else? Perhaps a nice slice of pie?

I didn't know that I received a symbol for VP? How about a post to test.

[edit] Nope.

Why not you deserve one! I mean that is just ridiculous of how you can get a symbol for being a community leader after you are done being president. But no symbol for Vice President? That is ridiculous.

As the internet says now-a-days, "my jimmies aren't rustled", hehe. I hardly did anything to deserve a badge or title, whereas Seppuku has slaved around the computer for years being a nice person and whatnot. Contributing to the forums like some sort of super-samurai. He's the one that ran, not me. My feelings aren't hurt because of the absence of recognition, but I'm not saying it wouldn't be nifty, either.

I really hope you're kidding about that "idiot" part... I can't tell if you were trying to be funny or are just being a jerk. I really hope it was the former.

I just don't like it when someone thinks I'm serious when I'm not or when I'm kidding and they think I'm serious.

Just nevermind I'll edit it.

Well sometimes there is someone who becomes serious and uses emoticons. But I will use the right icon.

Whatever happened to how a book sounds funny? Or how it sounds serious? Can typing and texting be like a book!

Yah I'm really airing on Benjamin's side here.... And it seems women do that. They expect you to read their minds.

So if women do that and zachadoodle just did...

Because books express directly through the character's thoughts. In books you will read something like, "Yes your hair is lovely," he said sarcastically. It's the sentence after the quote that shows ones thoughts.

Just sayin'

Damn it, a book would have made a fine President. And I do have lovely hair...

How do you know I'm not a book?

Quote: "Whatever happened to how a book sounds funny? Or how it sounds serious? Can typing and texting be like a book!"

Things can easily be misconstrued and when it comes to text you generally can have an indicator, that could either be the context or a cue (like how my Redneck bodyguard states), with context, it's still easy for people to take it the wrong way. It's one of those difficulties of communicating over the internet as you lack tone. People still misunderstand what I say on the net at times, even when I make full use of smilies. It just happens and I think the best you can do, when somebody gets the wrong end of the stick, just gently explain what you meant by it. Generally I think it's good to leave it at that.

So your best response was to call our old pal Benjamin an idiot. That isn't exactly the nicest thing to do, you see.

Sorry, I don't mean to keep calling you out on it for trouble-making purposes, I just want to point out that there are more polite responses. As mentioned, ""'s and ""'s can make all the difference here at TGC Forums!

Congrats, Sepp! Not sure why you won, though.
Ah wait...it's because you're a metalhead, ain't it?
So, when's the next (and first) metalparty, Mr. Presidente? ?

I would like to know what President Seppuku intends to do about the continuing defamation of cheese.
Cheese has been subject to false allegations for centuries, such as being responsible for nightmares. Cheese is often used as a derogatory term to describe bad films or exploitative tactics in games like Starcraft. The French are commonly referred to as "cheese-eating surrender-monkeys", the association of cheese with monkeys and the French is a blatant slander.

I will not rest until this injustice is brought to an end, and if that requires civil war then let it be known The Cheese War has begun!

Shh... you're pretty.
