Can a mod please change the title to "3rd" instead of "3nd"

I propose we try to make this a yearly thing, if not, or if users are opposed to it, post your thoughts here.

What do you guys think about this?

It's gone pretty swell the past 2 times and I find it to be a lot of fun!

Rules:

1. The image must be 459x60

2. The image theme must center around the forums

3. It can be an internet meme/fad/joke/reference, but still must center around the forum theme of "geeks" and "nerds".

3a. Please try not to use commercial icons. Copyrighted things should generally be avoided.

4. All artwork must be original. Artwork is not any images directly from another persons work, but, Banners can contain TGC related things, such as program icons, screenshot, ect. like this banner:



5. Try to add a black fadeout gradient on the left side of your images so it flows with the webpage.

6. Try to create a modern funny image, think about what's "in" today for nerds and geeks.

7. Save as .JPG only, no other formats (this includes animated .GIF's).

8. Try to put as much effort as possible into your images. I know some of us here are not artists and some are, but please at least keep the image looking slightly professional with some good design sense. Avoid something along these lines:




How will the images be chosen?


If it goes again like last time, images will be chosen based on how well they fit with the website and what content they contain (to-be-determined by a mod).


How many images will be chosen?


All of them will just put in one giant .ZIP file by me and sent to a mod for swapping. How many are picked is up to them.

I don't have an image editing program...

Valentine those are nice and all but I think the general consensus is to create something that has a little more meaning towards the forums, rather than just the TGC logo infront of a background. At this rate the forums will be 99% just your TGC logos and 1% actual banners that have something to do with the forums.
