Yep, I can confirm the world HAS indeed ended, I went downstairs to have breakfast this morning and we'd run out of cornflakes. I see no other explanation.

One hour left before noon in Mexico! That would line up with about 10:00 in the morning in Megiddo, right when God, the devil, and the four armies of the world will be waking up. Brace yourselves!

@The Zoq2-

But tomorrow will not exist if it is not on the Mayan calendar.

Huh, funny how all of these ridiculous predictions are solely made by Christians.

We survived yet another prediction. Yay.

WoW! That's not even remotely close to true, even by the reference you cited, but you get an A for dragging the thread off into a taboo subject.

What about the "not rediculous" ones? Is there a distinction there we should know about?

Brian.

Well, it's true that some of the most recent predictions have been by Christians. But how is the Mayan Prophecy supposed to be connected to Christians predicting that...? Most Christians I know wouldn't agree that a stone calendar by an ancient civilization could predict an end to the world.

I know there were some televangelists promoting the end of the world and trying to reference the bible into the Mayan predictions, but then arguably, the crazies will always find ways to rationalise crazy things. But there's really no reason why any Christians or heck people of other religions should be making these kinds of predictions, but so many people seem excited by the idea of the world ending...in a way it is worrying, but the rest of us, whether religious or non-religious get a good laugh out of it when these ends of the world doesn't happen.

Though admittedly, I am slightly disappointed it didn't happen - if there were fireballs coming out of the sky I could have at least got off work early. Though I wonder how one of our repair agencies reacted when their power went out...I should have asked them how they were handling the end of the world and if they've yet caught sight of any of the 4 horsemen.

It's not over yet-- the world still has a chance to off itself. It better be the end of the world, I'm telling you it better be!

I spent a little time in Sparta, Winsconsin when I was training National Guards at McCoy Airfield. I remember Sparta because they had a bank in town named "Fred's Bank". I remember thinking....

"Who in his right mind would put his money in Fred's Bank?" Is that normal in Wisconsin?

Brian.

It always amazes me how there are billions upon billions of reasonable, scientifically sound ways the world could end itself right now, and yet we have to come up with supernatural ones.

Let me rephrase what I said. Most of the predictions are made by Christians.

The next one is on May 19th 2013 by a Christian.

Quote: "Ronald Weinland's revised prediction of Jesus Christ's return following his failed 2011 and 2012 predictions."

http://www.ronaldweinland.com/

Why are we so pathetic?

I think if you predict the end of the world and it does not happen then you should be put to death immediately, you have not really lost anything and you should be pretty well prepared

Weird thing about the 21st for me, was having nightmares and I think a little bit of sleep paralysis. No end of the world, no zombies, no comets, no earth quakes or super volcanoes, just nightmares
