@raymondlee306

Wow that looks great! Now we should be able to have a nice library of vehicles.

Update:

Started on a T90 MBT, the polycount is destined to be quite high so I also plan to make a character version (the vehicle will be inanimate but the gun can rotate and fire at you.

@All

Fantastic work so far! The pack is really starting to take shape.

I'd like to contribute, but I don't think muskets, pitchforks, flintlock pistols, or ceremonial swords would fit in.

Great! I'll add them to the pack library asap. Thankyou for the contribution.

Update:

Further WIP on the T90 and WIP on a 9k22 Tunguska Mobile AA

And WIP texturing on an m1014. I've tried combining the use of photos with handpainting techniques:

IF you'd like, I can contribute my M16 model. Of course, it's high quality and ranks in at 6000+ polys, but it's nice and it's rigged. I also have an M92 that's rigged and high quality

@Rolfy/Secretive ops

Unfortunately for me it is my concern :/. Secretive ops if possible could you please present some WIP, or other works of yours? As I want to ensure that the pack is full of content which people can use in commercial projects. If it is yours then it is very generous of you and would be great contribution to the pack

Poloflece, no doubt you read my post before I edited it, its just I am tired of this kind of thing. Its entirely your call what you decide to put in this pack.
I will repeat only part of my previous post which was to say that at no point in the thread referred to did a mod say it was accepted that it could be released, simple, its your call and either yourself or SO should confirm it before going any further.

A word of advise...when seeking permission for something...no response, does not mean..yes.

Errant made it perfectly clear more than once that permission would not be given to use his animations, if still using those, 'proof' or no proof.

Hi guys here's a little something for the pack. This pipe kit allows you to mix and match from a set of 30 different pipes from 3 size variations thin, medium, and large. They all use a single standard texture set (similar to my trench kit)So it's really easy to retexture the whole set at once. They use the stock bump shader, and can be used in any way you like, and will fit in with just about any genra. Hope you find it useful.

Here's a pic...

This will be all I can do for now my friends, still healing up from my surgery, and it's difficult to get motivated when you don't feel so great. Hope this pack does well. Talk to you all later.

Poloflece: Sent the pack to your e-mail.

What scripts I have so far:
- flashlight system with batteries
- adaptive crosshair system(new+huds)
- some typical cod scripts like "2 weapons", "explodable walls", "hack status" and "cod blood screens"
- (maybe) a cod AI system(very hard to do)

If someone have ideas, just come out with it I have time until 1. Feb

There is already an existent script for this, I believe it was made by The Zombie Killer.

Update:

A re texture of my old ballistic knife (however I haven't released images of it before anyway). I'm going to try and use the flak system to make it actually fire a visible knife.I may be able to get this animated however if someone would like to oblige then that would be fantastic!.

@Corno_1

What about a realistic player movement script,

for expample:

- if player runs the camera will shake a little bit
- if player runs he will start to slow down after 10 seconds
- if player gets hurt or shot camera will shake

that would be great

i made a small script for this pack (it's the smallest and easiest script that i have ever created)

but here it is:

just like in the COD series

FPSC Recon Vehicle Complete. This is the first time I've tried to UV map something this large so take it for what it's worth...The texture is fairly simple so if someone wanted to change the colors and make multiple versions it should be easy.

That's fantastic! Thank you for the contribution. Personally I must confess when it comes to uv mapping characters and vehicles I really.. don't , 3d coat has a lovely little auto mapper (however I map everything else manually like I should) which works great with it's hand painting tools.

Oh and Cosmic, I forgot to thank you for the pipes. I hadn't previously realised how much they can do to a scene. So thank you

The Tunguska, you seriously do want want to be in a helicopter when that is around. What you modeled actually looks more like a 2K22M1, which features the 8 AA rockets on the sides. The Tunguska-M1 has more updated Anti-Aircraft rockets. The 2K22M1 is still used in service today as it has proven to be an extremely effective anti-aircraft system. They are usually used to protect convoys, but also act as an excellent defense emplacement. In the thick canopy of a forest you would never know this thing was just sitting there until a rocket was coming your way.

Since then the S-300 and the Pantsir-S1 are becoming very popular among the Russian Federation air defense. The Pantsir-S1 will actually be replacing the 2K22M1 I hear.

Still, I don't care what helicopter your in. I would scream like a little girl if I saw that on the ground. Beautifully done comrade polo!!

Hahah you seem to know a lot about Russian armor

Honestly I myself have trouble distinguishing the 3 from each other. I was initially led to believe that the pantsir-s1 was not a self propelled weapon (probably because I only learn about military hardware from video games ). However this have me the idea of having the gun of the 9k22 available as a separate object, which could then be mounted atop of a logistical vehicle (Lyonia suggested the TAM which I will look into).

I also have a vision (which I believe is quite achievable) of a scenario in fpsc where you are pitched against an armor convoy (say 2 t90s, the guns of which being characters, and 1 AA). You only have sufficient munitions to take out 1 vehicle. Apache helicopters will be able to take out the tanks if you can secure the skies, so you of course take out the AA and then watch glorious scripted events occur (choppers fly over and turn the t90s into minced meat). Cliche? Very much so, however it's just the general idea that would be awesome (and as I said it doesn't seem impossible)

Poloflece

Ps. Excuse all of the latter I am very sleepy.

The pantsir-s1 can be put on multiple different vehicles. Usually larger trucks, not sure if it has been put on a tracked vehicle yet. A TAM is very appropriate.

Here's something I'm willing to contribute. Just need to UV and texture it.

The actual gun is a modified XM8 Assualt Rifle.

Would anyone be interested in rigging it and adding hands because my attempts at modelling hands has turned out dismal. lol.

I'm not being funny, but, if the player character (supposedly someone fighting in modern warfare) can't run for more than 10 seconds without slowing down or coughing, then there is something wrong. In 10 seconds he will barely cover 100 meters! Not very far.

If you want to keep it realistic, i wouldn't have this in place. More like if he is running for a few minutes.

This is not meant to poop on anyones parade, just pointing it out.

@ Unfamillia

In the modern warfare game series, the player is if course carrying a lot of equipment, which would likely slow him down/restrict his endurance. However this of course might not be the case for games made using the script. I imagine that it would be fairly easily customised.

@Landman

Awesome gun! I myself considering doing an XM-29 (XM-8 with a semi auto metal storm grenade launcher inbuilt)

@all
I'm going to use some new techniques I've picked up to enhance the textures of the Kalashnikovs I've made so far. The end result should be more authentic than they are currently, but also maintaining the same quality (I used to have to choose between the two).

Keep up the good work!

Hello, I have a gun I made a while back that I can put in this pack if someone is willing to texture it because I suck at that :S I made it for EAI hands but it can work with others. I will also see if other people are willing to texture it then I will give it away.

Here is also a gun I made for the tavor animations.

Anything would be great, but destroyed buildings would be fantastic. Crates (whilst in their multitude) are always a welcome addition to libraries.

Quote: "If anybody has some suggestions outside of characters, I'll see if I can find some time this week."

Hmm, perhaps some shanty/favela style buildings. You'd be able to play around with multiple materials and colors (I'm going to have a crack as well).

@All

Sorry for the recent lack of input from myself, I've found myself busy with school and other commitments. However I should be able to funnel some recent work I've done from another project into this project (consisting of subway station entities).

That free time I mentioned? Came around. Plenty more of it this weekend too.

As asked, working on a Favela/Slum type style model. (Or models).
Super powerful kit, consisting of many different pieces and texture variations, all interchangeable and modular.
This contraption I put together is made with 6 unique meshes, all <50 poly. And only two textures are being used. Because of the way it's set up, there shouldn't be a problem with integrating this into FPSC. (The method is actually much better suited to Unity, or UDK)

Anyways, I've got a ton more textures to do it with, and virtually endless amounts of shapes I can create. So if you have any slightly more 'specific' suggestions on shapes or textures, let me know, and I'll be happy to work them in.

The render has no shader maps, and I made it really quickly just to announce the kit of it. But hopefully you get the idea.

Peace.
