i meant no disrespect to you at all.. Like I said I have no idea the issues or anything, but just felt that perhaps you have a biased attitude.. But hearing horror stories first hand would give anybody dislike another..

That's all I really have to say about this issue..

No offense taken! I just thought I'd throw some links in and share some info... and like I said, all of it is probably biased one way or another... so you kind of have to read between the lines and make your own conclusions...

Afrat seems like a brutal murderer to me, and a very, very bad face for the Palestinians. The odd thing is not even sources that support him can seem to say much more than 'he fought for his people', but he's got all this awful stuff on his record, it seems to me more like he fought for the hell of it. And now that he's dead, the world in general is already acting more positively toward the idea of a Palestinian state, the crucial player obviously being the US. I honestly can't see how this can appear to be a cause for sorrow to anyone.

So maybe when all the Israeli cabinet dies we can look forward to the two nations being peaceful?

Neither side is innocent in this particular dispute, there is no moral victor, and no reason for me to give a rats toothpick about them killing each other.

Your premise is sound but your conclusion illogical. While I wouldn't give a toss if every zealot and madman behind this senseless war died horribly, it is their use of innocent people; fathers and children who should be living peacefuly, as weapons, that makes the need for this to be stopped. It's not about them, it's about the people they're using. That's why we need to make a serious effort to put an end to it.

Please feel free to share any links you have to any info about Israeli suicide bombers blowing themselves up in Palestinian schools, civilian buses, grocery stores etc. whose families receive financial aid from Sharon upon their completion of the deed.

If you are easily offended, look away ...

I hear Arafat was buried in a Paul Gascoign shirt. Apparently his dying wish was he wanted to be buried in the Gaza Strip.

Quote: "In September 2000, Sharon again visited New York City, where he met with his supporters and financiers. Immediately after he returned, in an audacious manner Sharon decided to trespass the third holiest site of Islam on al-Haram al-Sharif in Jerusalem accompanied by 1,000 Israeli troops, as an assertion of permanent Israeli control over the sacred site. It is this impudent act which ignited the current crisis and provoked the second Palestinian intifada. In January 2001 the Barak government fell and on February 6, 2001 Sharon, who had taken over the Likud Party in September 1999, was elected prime minister of Israel, ready to launch his final drive for “Greater Israel.”"

Even if they're aren't Israeli suicide bombers the settlements and that wall are ridiculous. Just because they're not violent doesn't mean they're not damaging.

The wall literally closed of big towns from the rest of the world. It clearly cuts into Palestian land. There's no excuse for that. To claim it is to keep out suicide bombers is stupid, if this was true, couldn't they just build it on Israeli land?

for any nation/cult/race/empire/etc a wall is what you build once you are defeated, any military preacher will tell you that, example being Sun Tzu (sp?).

the chinese did it, the scots did it, and now the israelis have done it. its what you do when you can't fight the battle any more and theres no other way to keep the oposition out by military force.

Yeah but have you seen the route it takes? It literally loops right around towns like a huge omega sign and runs right through palestian land.

o_0 not to be funny, but the dude is dead..
it might sound cold, but he isn't our consern and never was.

matters of other states are just that, other peoples problems.
we have our own to deal with, you want to sit around discussing things that don't consern us just to express an opinion do it in the IRC room where your words disappear as soon as your irc clients buffer empties itself. As that is pretty much all the opinion is worth, trash for the Cache cleaning.

you honestly think anyone truely cares?
or is ever going to listen to anything you said?

maybe someone will .. but what the hell is the chance someone who can actually do anything but also bitch about it?!

you seriously care this damn much about it, go and become a politian then bitch to peers about it all; cause quite frankly all the Bush, Arafat, 9/11, Bin Laden, etc.. ALL of it, I'm honestly sick and tired of hearing the useless ramblings of teenagers who believe thier words on a public form for a computer game language are going to mean a damn thing in the grand scheme of things.

Fact is, most of you are too young to vote, thus you don't get a say.. those of us who are old enough to have our say in how the countries are run; are only voting for a lesser of a bunch of useless people who promise heaven&earth but deliver Bogna Regis.. We all bitch we'll never vote for them again, then when next election comes we don't believe anyone else has a chance so we vote the same damn way.
and what do those we vote in do, spend thier entire terms flying to other countries trying to solve thier problems instead of our own. like somehow they can turn the blind eye to their homes and act better in-front of a bunch of people.. claim it is all an act of god and cause they're not christian thus this means thier beliefs are wrong.. so when one of them dies we have stuck up retards sitting here aruging about the same old crap they can't damn well control!

and if you don't like that rant your corgelly invited to kiss my ass, because quite frankly somehow I doubt i'm the only person sick and tired of the same damn retards thinking that because they're over opinionated it matters.

ya'll gonna end up with mediocre jobs with no real effect on the world.. some of you might like them, some of you won't.. but lets face it, if you were going to be out there saving the world, you wouldn't be in a programming forum bitching about things to people who don't even know you past a screen-name and an avatar.

why the hell Bill Gates can't lend us his spam filters for a while, i dunno.. not like we don't damn well need it.

What's the point in saying that?

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean we can't have an interesting discussion.

I really think that whole speech is pretty ridiculous coming from you.

Maybe when you actually code a game you can comment.

Raven's just trolling as usual. Hey, Raven, fun fact, as a voter who mechanically ignores intelligent debate and argument on the internet... and probably other mediums if you had any friends in them... you're worthless in the 'grand scheme of things'. You're a single ballot sheet stacked up against millions of others. Your vote means crap. It's nothing. The people who matter, the people who change things, are those who persuade others to reconsider their views; those who use reason or rhetoric to change many voters' opinions. And it doesn't really matter if they vote or not, because those people mean two... ten... five hundred thousand times as much as you and your sole, ignorant, pathetic vote ever will.

Obviously you've missed the point.. 'we're all worthless in the grand scheme' so that the hell is the point in arguing.

Why don't you ppl get on with something productive than creating more forum trash?

There should be a forum feature calling "Raven Factor".

It's your post count divided by the number of games you've made.

For Raven -

10000 / 0 = twat

It does annoy me when people play that card, as it has no bearing whatsoever on their intelligence or the validity of their arguments. Makes more sense in a debate about game creation ...
