Ok, sorry I havent posted in a while, I was getting some work done instead of posting here every second and my internet messed up. So, heres a screen of the tweaked hud.

As you can see terain is clicked therefore all the tabs (which are tools) show up and therefore can be selected. I thought this was a good design without taking up alought of space. Also I did a little work on a part which Im still not going to announce until a later point (when a beta is avaible most likely) Please comment on the Hud as I want to know if it's appealing to the eye. Thanks.

I will be a beta tester. And I would just like to say that your HUD interface reminds me very much of the Sims...

well i got rid of the matrix and increase my fps by 300.All still works, but no ground, so I might push the beta testing to a later point, though at this time it still will be on the 15.

very nice stalker. How long did you spend on it? I personally find it hard to spend more than 1 hr modelling, but I am working on spending more time and learning more modelling techniques.

Cool glad u like it. It didnt take long, mostly just primitives, optimised it to the point where if I optimised it any more it would look retarded. Ive been modelling for about 5 years, just self taught though, so I dont know every trick of the trade yet. Got 3 projects on the books at the moment though.
I probably spent an hour modelling and 20-30 mins tweaking the texture and uvmapping.

ah. sorry for me being gone and such, I wish I could help but webspace is mean, and so...

@stalker: Wow, 5 years:o. I have been for about...5 weeks, and I suck horrificly. I spent 25min on the nuclear powerplant at MOST, and about 10 minutes on textures. You can tell by the quality. I didnt uv, just mapped it useing max 6's built in texturer. I could uv it, but I am not a 1337 ub0rz guy, so I suck, lol. I also seriously like your modelling, and what tool do you use, because if it is max ( god I had to save up money for it, but it is entirely worth it) do you have hotmail or something to teach me? Another silly question, what did you use to uv? Built in modeller one, lithun wrap, or something?
sorry for long post.

Jr noober, I do use 3ds Max 6.0, and again I use the built-in Unwrapper and uvw tools, then i export as a .3ds and keep the texture coords. Open it up in Lithunwrap and load the materials, the unwrapping is already done, and just save it as .x!!!
DonE. Sorry I cant help to teach you, but I will be developing some tutorials for some of the projects I am working on.

ok almost done and should relese the beta but uh cute ftp epired for me so ill have to get an ftp program. also the textures on the solar powerplant arent regognised by 3d canvas but im sure ill fix it somehow. also in about 2 weeks ill be taking a trip up to a buisnees trip with me pops up to a base and that means i can program non stop without any distractions (t.v mostly). Ill try and have the beta up by tommorow night.

very simple just click on utilities and click on one of the first 3 buttons. this will select a building to be mad from there click on the terrain and wallah! you have a building (it wont be textured becouse that saved donwload size.) Now what i need you to do is record the screen rate pending on how many buildings are on screen. Thank you.
