i have to correct this. this is, in fact, not currently legally possible in California. California law states that a resident of the state cannot purchase any kind of firearms in another state. Pure and simple. Resident of California, wanna buy a gun in Arizona? Nope. In Nebraska? Nope. I have personal experience with the second state, heh. Just had to clear that little falsity up.

or it could be a societal issue. having absolute control on kids all the way up until they are 18 may teach them to accept violence/use of force for their own goals or principles and "punishment" for what they think is wrong. in other words a spanking translates into beating someone up

I think once you're in your teens parenting should be done by reasoning and discussion, not force

and about FPS affecting people, that just depends on the person. Most aren't affected by it, and if they don't find the release through the games they will find it another way.

And I'm still going to maintain the point that if no one cared if blood/gots/death were in computer games, the market for those games would die down
