Quote: "It's not like I'm requesting features or anything...but what about a way to view projects without proposals and maybe a little general chat forum."

Actually the whole idea is to read the project before posting a proposal. Once you post a proposal you should be commited to the project. Once they hire you, you can't just post something like: "Oh yea, I was just testing the system."

I am adding more features today such as: Author Comments, Mod Comments, your Team List, Team Announcements and a bunch of other cool things I am very disappointed that I still only see 4 requests, but I guess it's only a matter of time.

Once this gets really stable you should spread the word around

Quote: "blitz, gamedev, IGDA Indie, and other places."

If you are interested in helping out, you could spread the word since I don't visit any of these places. Like I said before, it's really a place for every kind of developer including Musicians, Pixel Artists and even hosting companies. Pretty much everything you need to make a complete project.

Thanks a lot BearCDP for posting your feedback, at least I know I am moving in the right direction

Tell those flipcode people to go eat their mother, heh heh.

Have you posted anywhere at IGDA Megaton? I'll find somewhere to get it seen if you haven't.

Blitzcoder got moved to Coders Workshop, I'll get them.

I was planning to but the forums are as dead as my Grade 2 hamster. No point.

Cool stuff except there is a reason for the image we have now
Our current image: 588 Bytes
Yours: 11225 Bytes

While it does lack the quality, it saves a whole lot of bandwith
Thanks for trying tho.

IGDA's never really active, but people do read it.

People are bashing colors on blitz as well.

Speaking of retarded replies, can you edit proposals in your requests to eliminate the "cool game, wish I could help" replies?

No. But if you are offereing services, you should edit your skills. In the upcoming version, people can search through skills and find the right person before posting.

In the future, TeamRequest will be expandind to cover larger areas of the market. This will include a whole range of free tools to help developers with making a successful project. I'll keep you informed on our progress.

Actually some good did come out of this website I got a job as a web dev, so it's not all that bad. Some of you may think I quit, but actually, I have been very busy with school. Next week, I got finals and I can finally get back to work on this website after I am finished .

You could make a thread on gamedev, although they already have their own section for team requests. If nothing, you could get some ideas from the team request template they have in the "Help Wanted" section.

A couple people from the new BlitzCoder site were interested.

I noticed they recommended a sans serif font in flipcode--that is a good idea. I'm working on something right now, and once I get a few more things done I'll be posting on there.
