I've found the best way to tell girls of your madz coding abalities is AFTER you've known them for a couple weeks and know that:

a) she's not looking for an excuse to toss you off
b) she's nice enough that you don't want to toss her off

Then tell her! You'll be suprised how many girls think being a programmer, but ONLY AFTER they know you're not a geek. You tell them too soon and they'll dump you for sure.

My girlfriend has actually asked me to teach her to program. The trick is not to go into to much detial, talk about it a little but don't get onto the finer differences between C/C++ and why Linux kikz billz arses!!!11ONE

(I hate linux btw).

Do what now? Stay here for more than a year or so (I started in 2000, the forums didn't update the joined dates when the software changed in 2002) and you get a few. Plus this is a dead thread that has been repeated about once every 4 years for the last half a decade on these boards.
