I WOULD, but I don't have any money lol
This looks absolutely stunning, Tinyschu. Excellent usage of lighting, mapping. I love how detailed the levels look. How did you get that Colonel X to be dead before you got there, though???
All in all, this looks excellent and I can't WAIT for the demo.

To let you know before releasing my demo in a few days, my demo will require you to download 7-zip in order to extract it. To get it, go to the following address:

I have a question for you guys. Do you want to download my "3 Level Demo" which is, in .7zip format, 134 mb. Or would perfer a shorter demo, which would be about half that much. I asked this because I have my 134 mb demo just about ready to upload to filefront.com.

Did you press the "f" key instead of enter? Because the you should press the "f" key to open doors.

Anyway, in the final version of Slaughtered, I will have about 20 - 30 levels in the game. Due to the lack of the ability to save the game, the levels will be separated in chapters and will be code protected files. In order to play, for example, chapter 2. You need to play chapter 1 to get the code in order to open and extract the folder that contains chapter 2. Good idea? Your opinion counts!

Also, I will spend a lot of time on each level. So far I have done about 12 levels. I can't say that they are "FINISHED" because I always have an idea for the level so I go back and edit it. I want this game to be a game that suits yours and my tastes and hunger for gaming.

It looks really good, even with stock entities. But if this is your first game I'd recommend to do it for free, mainly because it's not all custom data and people round here likely won't buy it. But looks real nice.

Thanks, but I am selling it on behalf of that this is going to be a huge game. Like many games here they only have at an average of 5 levels at the most, not saying all of them have only 5 levels. My game will be different, it will have at least 20 levels. I am also working on multiplayer too! Like I said in the upper post, I am going to split the game in chapters. And for each chapter there will be a code protecting the player to jump ahead to each chapter.

Anyway, thanks for your opinion on my game, Skitza! I really apprieciet that!

I'm gonna download the demo when I get home as it's huge (too big for me to do at work!)

I take it from your statement that you haven't changed the on screen text when you need to 'use' something? I've changed it to say F, by editing the TGA file, although you'll have to convert the dds file first.

I'll post feedback about the demo tonight hopefully.

It's only a simple change, I'm going to sort it out properly soon, but here it is for anyone that wants it. Will you need the dds file too?

Hope it helps.........

Just downloading your demo now by the way, filefront was being a bit of a pain and very slow!

Yeah, I need the DDS file too, but thanks for giving the TGA file to me!

I am sorry to hear that filefront is being slow. I hope you get to play my demo. When you get it, HAVE FUN!!!

Edit: Plus, could you tell me how to edit DDS files, because I don't know how and I would like to start on creating textures for entities like new characters.

2nd Edit: Nevermind, I found a converter! Now I can create textures!! Woo HOO!!!! LOL!!!!!

Thanks for helping though, Jacko.

Here is one of my desktop backrounds for my game. You can set it as your backround if you would like. Tell me what you think about this wallpaper I whip up.

Note: It doesnt have any screenshot of my game at this moment, but I will work on that. This is wallpaper #1 and I will probably work on more in the near future!

I am so sorry about that Tom, I guess I did not see that. Anyway to make a character dead you have to give him the following

Health: 1

FallHurt: 0

And you also have to have the character to follow a small waypoint and should die instantly.

Thank you Be on the lookout for a game I am making:
B V G: Britain Versus Germany. It is about a British Army facility taken over by Germans when the Britains go for a head on fight with Germans (planned via messengers), but the germans are sneaky. Once the Britains are gone, they take over the British Facility.
But anyways, enough about that-sorry for jacking your thread lol
