Well, I generally try not to repost what others have said, but... [expletive], this game looks great! Also, I was creating a scifi game like yours (inspired by Doom 3... sorta), and I was wondering, you mentioned that you had a buzzing noise like fluorescent lights make, right? Can I have it and give you credit in my game?

One more thing; I have a budget of... $0 for games right now, so, my 2 cents on the price is I'd much rather it be free (n00bs like me like free stuff).

Another last item: I like the "Chapter" system you thought up; may I use it on my (freeware) game, with more credit given? (I don't know about all these intellectual property copyright things, but I'm sure as heck not getting in trouble with them.) Hey, my download is done! I hope thse levels don't take to long to load - I've already waited 6 whole minutes for it to download.

Changing the connotation of "noob," one post at a time.

Thanks for your opinion on my chapter thing!

My answer to you for the light sounds is no, you cant have them. I say this because I am not giving out every thing free from my game. Sorry.

Also, I said that I do not want anybody using my sounds packed in with the demo in their games except for my game.

I dunno why, maybe since I downloaded the trial i was looking to see what kind of games are being made, but DANG! This game looks amazing! I have yet to download the demo but the screenshots and posts look awesome. i would definately buy this game but only for 5 bucks because i'm pretty broke...but still, congratulations!

Thanks Brettman, and WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!!!

I know I haven't been posting much screenshots for a while, but I am working on episodes when you go down to earth.

The storyline on earth takes place in your apartment in Chicago. I chose this city instead of New York City because there hasn't been much games that took place in Chicago and there are a bunch of games that takes place in NYC. I wanted my game to take place in a different place than other games. If there is a game that takes place in Chicago, please tell me. Thanks.

Hi,

Your screenshots look promising, now downloading the demo.

Cheers, Rich.

p.s. There's a new game, Stranglehold (I think) out sometime this year set in Chicago (and Hong Kong), but you're right there are a lot of games (and other media) set in New York.

To Creator Of Zombies: I would just recommend to play with the keys. Get to know how to use them because I am not that great on explaining how to use them. Its kind of complicated for me to explain.

Anyway thanks for your comments people! Thanks so much!!

Also I want to tell you I am creating a website for this game, the site is at the following link

This project will be worked on a lot quicker when I get my Alienware computer. You see, my house was struck by lightning and I lost every computer, but my Dell Laptop, which is pretty good. The problem is that this laptop can't support shadows, doesn't support very good lightmapping, and it lags sometimes with just 2 enemies and it also lags when you shoot the shotgun and chaingun, but I will be getting the computer sometime in April, I think April 17-25, 2006.... HOPEFULLY.

Yeah, I agree. The 2nd one doesn't look that great. I will work on that room a little more. Thanks for your opinion Silver the lord of Nothing.

Edit: Also I am not working on single player right now, but I am working on multiplayer maps that are HUGE and they run at a steady 32 FPS!

Umm.... What do you mean by "On YOUR computer" Tom0001?

Edit: I think you are saying that I get 32 FPS on MY computer only, but some people get lower. I find that pretty funny, because I am working on a LAPTOP! LOL!

2nd Edit: I think that I might be done with the Moonbase episode, now I will be doing an episode that the virus goes to earth... LOL!!!!!!(EVIL LAUGH)

I will be posting screenies on this episode when I have a level or two done. Also in the earth screenies, I will have custom textures for the characters, segments, and entities when necessary. Hope to get a level for earth done soon!

Vlad the Impaler, do you mean 5 to 10 levels may not be enough for me? To answer that question, I really do not like VERY quick games. Lets just say if I passed level 5 and I really got into it and when I get to level 6 and also find out that it was the last level then I would be disappointed and say "that was a short game..." with a frown. My dream was to make a game that is long, and yet addictive. That is my goal in this game and I WILL acheive it, and I hope that you all count on me to make this game. Trust me, even if things get tough for me, I VOW TO NOT CANCEL THIS PROJECT!

My 2nd goal is to get this game completed by the end of this year, but I will not rush things. I WILL complete levels to my liking and I WILL add your opinions to my game to make it better!

I will see what I can do, it might be that it is already compressed enough that it can't be compressed any more. I will tell you if I can compress it even more though.

Edit: Sorry, but 191mb is the farthest it goes for compressing my game. I guess I would advise you to try and download my demo from each server in Filefront, thats all I can say to you. Hope you can play it!
