This looks awesome-are you planning on releasing it still? Also, I think he did all the textures and stuff himself, but they look like HL2 textures. I mean, as long as he didn't just rip it from the game/take a picture ingame and use it, its ok.

Well, what else can I say? These textures are absolutely amazing! You can make one of the best FPS Creator games ever if you used these textures. So tell me, do you have any idea of what the cost of this pack would be?

Oh, I'd also be honored to be a beta tester.

I'm still wondering, how did you do that glow on the window?

I looked at the glow decals - that's not it.

Is it an entity/part of the segment that comes with the pack?

You model a cube primitive. Then when you texture it, you make most of it transparent, except for the part that you see in the screenshot. I believe Butters did something similar for one of his areas in Fall of the Fireflies.

the ALIA FPSC games.
The budget for our three first FPSC games have been approved. And we have finalized the screenplay of the first episode's. Now we are at work with the enemies, We take 8 of 14 that have been designed. I go for having a talk with the bosses to know if they let me put any image.

Wow, dimoxinil.

I'm glad to see that you guys are still working on this. I remember when I looked at your stuff a lot earlier, and it's as great as ever. It's actually been a few months, but as soon as I came back to this forum, I remembered your work, so I searched for it. I can't wait to see your absolute final product.

Keep it up, man. The textures and models are awesome.

Hi.

Thanks for your comments.

At this moment We are working on the animations of the guns, designing segments, creating entities, etc.. and according to the work schedule the coming week, we begun with characters's animation. AHHHHHHHH We have over 30 characters that it is necessary give life.

Pablo our weapons animator is doing a great job, I will ask the bosses to show up any animation in game of the guns, But frankly I doubt it. There isnt foreseen showing neither video until Christmas.

well I leave you for the moment, here we have a lot job to do.

Hmmmmm...... we've heard this before, many times.

First there's a lot of cool stuff, that makes us all eager to have it. Secondly there's the it takes longer then we planned to, but it will come. Then there's thank you for waiting, it will come soon. Suddenly there are companies, producers, animators, studios and I don't know what else, all of them not allowing anything to be shown or released.....

.....then there's nothing anymore and the project and everything else just vanishes into thin air.

sounds like a temper tantrum of a 9 year old to me Bloodeath. I do not know of any company represenative that would respond with a spoiled brat remark of "ok fine, I am gonna take my pretty pictures and go home".

Like I said from the beginning of this post, pics dont mean a thing, put something out there otherwise it's all talk. Anyone with decent skills can dr up jpgs to look nice. And yes, I saw your vid, but honestly, I can make the same thing.

Pony up some proof dude...

Oh wait,,,cant,, the animators dont want it to be seen now....typical.

Hmmm,,funny,,apparently thats what we are asking this dude,,,He is the one boasting how they have this great product, and for months they are going to have this and that, how the whole community was hyped for this stuff, delayed and delayed, and now all of a sudden when validity is in doubt, nothing can be shown per the bosses?

Gimme a break. I personally think it was shown by nighthawk on one of the pages of this posting that a lot of what they were showing were nothing more than ripoffs of HL2 textures.

As I stated before, pony up more proof other than eye candy pics. Sounds like R9 posting if you ask me.

I recall that and I also recall someone else posting pics of similair models he found on the web, made by someone else. But it has the same pattern indeed.... create a huge hype and all of a sudden you dissapear for a while and then come back announcing you can't release the project due to someone else's decision.

Quote: "As I stated before, pony up more proof other than eye candy pics. Sounds like R9 posting if you ask me. "

Sound like it.... worst is, that within a few months there back (like CB is now) pretending nothing ever happened, hoping we all just forgot about it.

I would be so ashamed of myself I wouldn't even dare to come back. Imo people who behave like this should be banned.

dimoxinil,
So far I have seen a lot of pretty pic and stuff like that but no actual media.
Do you actually plan on releasing something?
And,if so,maybe you should release at least one (or maybe more) free models to the FPSC forums so people can check your work out before they buy your products.
I am just interested to know if you are planning on releasing anything.

I just expect the same from this guy as I do from myself and everyone else that boasts they have something phenominal(not that I have come up with anything of that nature..lol), GIVE UP SOMETHING TO THE COMMUNITY LIKE THE REST OF US. It is pretty good knowledge here that most people will not buy anything unless you give a little something to show it's worth. Heck, I gave away a rather large model pack for free just so everyone could test my work before I start charging.

Since when is that? There are a number of people selling pack or models around here that haven´t done that at all, yet the packs and models sell very well.

I will have to agree with stamina on this one. Regardless of what the "boss's" say. It would be in the companies best interest to release something for free to show the products worth. I think that even a nice video would suffice in this situation. there is no reason that an animator would say "no, you can't show my work" to a community that has the potential to make you a nice chunk of change. because word of mouth is very important in this community and with the shady background of the developer of this pack it would be in their best interest to build credability. I say either release something or pack up and move on.
