Wow, if Valle includes just some of the ideas from the last side, SC3 will be great. Really.. God mode sounds funny, animal mode, too, even if it might be hard to integrate, grenades, team-support.. I also hope that you are going to use a new mapformat, maybe something like in the game Soldat, so that the terrain can also have a gradient..
Are there any new facts about SC3? I'm really interested in it.. oh and please let the blood be deactivated optional, sometimes it's too IMO too much.

yes, i am

i think sc3 will be quite different to sc2.
The Maingame will be Singleplayer with Storyline etc.
I want to add moves like Backflips and stuff like that and ofcourse slowmo!

Interesting ideas here, i'll see what i can do!

At the moment i'm too busy with the vertical space shooter and school


so it will take some time until i can go on developing sc3...

I like the idea of the storyline quite a bit. Will there be differant ones for differant characters? Or is it too early to tell yet?

I think there will be one character.
I thought i would include some sort of time traveling so you can play one mission in Japan (Samurai stuff) and another one in the future and so on...

This is game great! I had a good laugh when an enemy shot out my legs and I was still fighting back, lol.

The only thing I didn't really care for were the controls at first. I would have the fire and jump buttons switched. But I got used to it after 5 minutes.

Other than that, I had fun

Hi Guys,

i'll make a WIP thread for SS3 when i progressed a bit.
I'm working on editors for moves, weapons, characters etc. at the moment, but i stop from time to time and make smaller projects to keep me motivated

The basic story is already finished

I'll tell you more in the WIP thread then

@Area51: Don't worry, i wont sell it, perhaps i'll sell Stick Suicide 3D in far future

I find this game extremely addicting and can't wait for SS3. Anyhow, here are 9 weapons that I made for the game. They are zipped with images and the code for them. Some are realistic, some aren't. And some of the art is good and some bad.

The 9 new weapons are:
-The Tacpistol (Screenshot)
-The Future mp5 (Screenshot)
-The Riot Shotgun with Lasersight (Screenshot)
-The M16
-The P90
-The Super Machine Gun

Uuuh, I'd have an aspect you could improve, or fix or whatever -> the movement of the projectiles should depend on the movement of the character who shot. So if he moves right and shoots right it should be faster than if he moves left while shooting... I realised it because I made a Free Falling-map with a high.. "tower". The players start in the air at the top and fall to the not existing ground and die there... the problem is, that as soon as the players are a bit fast the projectiles are to slow to hit the other players. Maybe someone understands what I mean.

Just a question, but why are the initials SC2? Why not SS2?

Anyways i can't wait for SS3. Thats gonna be awsome. I hope it comes with more modes than capture the bag and death match.


I made another map and i've decided to post my weapons also. It's all in one zip.(attached) Unzip it into your Stick Suicide folder

The map is called "Climb up the mountain". It goes up and not back down. All the good weapons are at the top and if your doing capture the bag, then it's normally at the top. I recommend doing capture the bag on this map. It's hard.

Please post the content of the error line, line number 336 is "global dim(maxweapons) as weapon" in my code.

When bullets go off screen, they are still calculated, just no picture is drawn.
More blood but fewer sprites.
Set the gamma to red rather than making everything in red. (It's a real slow-down)
Armour (Done just like weapons)

Powerups (eg. invincibility, high jump, extra damage, etc. and should be scriptable like weapons are)
Pools of blood left on the floor
Bloody animation of headshot
More weapon script options
Jump higher (Its hard making levels otherwise)
Jet packs
Anti-gravity/Moon-gravity packs (affects all players )
Booby trapped powerups
Mines
Kamikaze moves
Team battles

Hide and seek mode (All on one!)
Chemical weapons
Customizeable character
Hold multiple weapons, and also have weapons in backpack
Upon death, enemies drop stuff that you can equip, and it stays with you after game end. (You could trade these with other people!)

Would it help if I made a program that creates the weapon script for you, coz the many people (300-400) in my school that play this cant seem to do the scripts, they can draw the weapons though...

What about blood that runs down the platforms? You could do it with a plain that slowly gets bigger.

It would be nice if weapons could have other affects then just damage. Like that you fires a poison dart at someone and his / her health slowly drops... or you fire a weapon that do no damage but paralyzes the target (would be nice as a granade or something) for some time.

What about invincible mode, where you can only die by suicide, but you get points for each limb you blow off somebody else, and extra points for a headshot!
