I want the MULTIPLAYER!

@ Valle: You didn't send the game to the magazine, right? (Or have you sent it to anotherone than GameStar?) Then you have to do it! You'll win the contest without any chance for similar games... Maybe you could ask the magazine to make another contest, which animates the users to create their own weapons and maps, and the best of them will be on the next issue's DvD... would be cool.

Here's my contribution to the weapon fest - BEHOLD!:

THE N00B RIFLE
The best friend of all those who lack skill or bravery!
EDIT: Forgot to mention, it's excessivly CHEAP! Meaning it kills in like one shot and fires too quick!

I don't know PCGamer. I guess it's an english or american game magazine which i dont know living in germany, I'll search the Internet...

I already sent it to a german game magazine but they didn't take it because of the political names and too much blood

I can remove the few names, but the blood? That would ruin the game

Do NOT remove the names. Not a single one. It would definatly ruin the game.

I live in Sweden and PC Gamer exist here. And it rocks! I would definatly send it to that one. If you approve, I could send it in to them.

Me to.

And by the way I've sent it to the magazine. But, however, I forgot to mention it requires DirectX. And I sent a few mapps and weapons from you all with it . Hopefully it will be on their DVD. But I can't promise that.

It will give them the DirectX error when they run it, and I bet they already have the latest DirectX version. bUt who knows. I really hope to see the game in the next issue. I don't usually get the PC Gamer magazine, but if this gets into it, I will definentily want to get that issue!

This game is truly awesome, I love stick games and this one has to be in my top 3. I'm not exactly sure if you intended there to be humor in the game but there was a lot of it, I had no legs and a sword and I was owning everyone and I laughed my head off. The sound effects are pretty good too. Once multiplayer comes out, depending on how it works, this will probably end up being my favorite stick game

I've taken a quick look on the DVD that follows with PC Gamer, but Stick Suicide 2 doen't seem to be in it. And there is no comment on it in the magazine itself. I did send it in, but they didn't seem to be interested. That's just too bad, it's a very nice game.

TEMPEST + SS2 = ONLINE SS2!!!

Try it, I mean, you'd be able to do it easily if you could already make this game.

What? You're going to be in the Shmup-dev competition? Noooo. There's no way I am going to win now .

Oh wait! I just remembered. They canceled the competition! I guess you're just going to have to forget about it...

Sorry, I was joking .

I didn't mean for you to actually believe me. I'm really sorry .

I thought it would be obvious with the smiley, but I should have made it more obvious. I was joking about making you not compete so I would win.

Really sorry! I hope you forgive me .

I have downloaded this game about when this thread started, and it's obviously been updated. Is anyone kind enough to post any screenshots? (I can't download any new version on the computer I am using.)

Also, this is stick suicide 2.... Where's 1? I would like to play the original one, or at least add it to my very, very, small collection of games.

btw: This is my favorite game, keep up the good work Valle

[edit] Nevermind about the screenshots, they are all on the 3rd and 4th page (My browser wasnt displaying them I guess)...

btw: I think stick suicide 2 (At least the version I have) could fit in the 20 line challenge. Just a thought.

I'm here, why?

How do you expect to get Stick Suicide 2 in 20 lines?
There's also a rule which says that there is a limit for commands in 1 line i think

What about adding a freakshow mode, you could have everybody's bodyparts mixed up! Or even grow back if you leave them long enough!

I havnt seen a response in a while, thats why.

Its 25 commands per line though. I imagine it could fit, oh, but i didnt check if it exceeds 500 lines. If it exceeds 500 lines then it wont be able to fit (not counting spaces/comments).

It was just a thought though.

Or what about an animal mode, where you build an animal, by drawing lines and choosing which limb it is.

Animal mode?

I'd rather have noob mode. Where your only weapons are a book and a banner that says MMO PLZ

Why not animal mode?

Well, anyways, I think there should be a "God" mode, or at least editable controls. I dont know about you guys but for me the WASD keys, C, CONTROL, SHIFT, UP/DOWN keys work great for me (W to jump, S to shoot, A to turn left, D to turn right, C to commit suicide, CONTROL to drop a weapon, Shift to run, and UP/DOWN to aim.

But God mode would be pretty sweet (Run quick like hell, Jump really high, immortal, so on, etc. etc.)...

This is the funnest game ive ever played though. (Computer game anyways, this would be great on a console though...)

What about melee only, or gun only modes! That should be easy to add

edit:
you should also be able to specify an image for the bullet, and other bullet settings...

Melee only mode? That would be nice.

Quote: "But God mode would be pretty sweet (Run quick like hell, Jump really high, immortal, so on, etc. etc.)..."

If everyone is immortal, how do you kill someone? Eccept for that it would be nice.

Or porhaps one player is a immortal God, and everyone else must find a magic thing, like a wand, and kill the God with it. And then the person who kills the God become one.

EDIT:

And animal mode does not seem to bad to me.

I've got some suggestions for SC3.

Add team support, it would be fun with modes like capture the flag, plant the bomb, ect.

Add more modes to play in(Like Juggernaut, sudden death, and only one type of gun on the map).

Also, if the SC3 maps are in a different format, make a converter so you can use the old maps.

Make grenades.
