I'm holding on to my massive TGC holding with dear life, in the hopes that one day, if the need arises, I can blackmail the lot of you into sumbission

Everyone should visit Mullets Galore. I'm not saying that because I own 18 shares of it... no, never! I'm saying it because the site is hilarious

And Men Who Look like Kenny Rogers. You'll be amazed at how many people look like him. Also, not because I own 124 shares and the majority of the site (my gf owns the rest of them)... not at all! I just thought you guys would like to see chubby white guys with poofy white beards because it's funny I PROMISE, I don't want you to visit those sites to increase their popularity, NOR am I trying to increase my rank in direct competition with Batvink, NOR am I hoping to max out those shares and sell them all off tomorrow to dump my money into something else. I promise

I made 200$ from gamemaker.nl I plan on selling it Sunday if I continue making money.

And I made 90$ from my 3 shares of TGC, which I plan on keeping for a while.

I whish Mad Money covered alexdex

Ha! I still own the majority, at 280 shares, I just sold a small handful back to spread the wealth I thinks its going to go up again in value in a few days, so I wouldn't sell if I were you guys (because if I see more than 28 shares on there again, I'm going to dump some other holdings and buy out TGC entirely, muah ha ha ) This hostile takeover stuff is kinda fun

Just made a helluva profit on Airbus $6000 - $29,500 overnight!!!!

Trouble is teh trading window is closed, I want to sell before I lose it all again, it was a very unusual glitch for Airbus, I was wagering on the 380 landing in Heathrow last week.

I bought TGC shares after the price went up, and now it went down. This is starting to resemble the real stock market.

OMG! everything except Mulletsgalore took a huge dump today! TGC is down 9%, menwholooklikekennyrogers dropped 67%, Gamedev.net dropped 29%, stupidvideos.com dropped 20%, blitzbasic dropped 3%... But mulletsgalore jumped a staggering 700%... it's good that I bought it when I did, at a dollar per share lol

mmm. This site could do with a few more options. Like add site to database and the ability to see the list of most popular sites. I wonder what to spend my money on.
I´ve bought all the shares to 123reg.com! 100% share holder. Now to make 123reg more popular somehow.

Tell me about it! Everything I own took a huge dump, and all of the stocks I used to own and sold because I was afraid of being shut out monetarily are now skyrocketing. So now I'm watching current events trying to see what might spike in the near future... try to capitalize like Batvink did with Airbus (you prat!) hehe, I finally used "prat" in a sentence, I don't even know what a prat is but I went ahead and used it Anyway, now I'm slipping behind in rank again... but one day soon I'll rise up and dominate all of you with my awesome stock-buying coolness And when TGC drops, I take a HUGE hit because I own so much stock in it. If I were smart, I'd sell it all off, but I'm not going to do that just yet... I've still got a good feeling about its worth for some reason.

Man, I visited that link and I'm impressed at Soapy's intuitiveness. But I think this one is way better:

Alexadex and cheating the System < that link is AWESOME for cheating, not that I would cheat

I'm not getting any referral money from my girlfriend's new account. She used my referral link but no $1000

Okay, I'm getting angry now. My referral link simply does not work. When you use it, it says "latest referal from Mattrock," but it doesn't give me the money, even several days after the fact Did everyone else get their referral money? Could someone try clicking my link or something? This stinks! Is it because my gf is on our home LAN network? my link is here.

http://alexadex.com/ad/index.fcgi?ref=25330 incase it didn't come out right. UGH!

Hehe I managed to spend every single last dollar. I sold some stocks that spiked and picked up some on the losing end of their cycle (at least that's what I hope!). Also picked up NHL.COM as they're in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and a few shares in Disneyland.com (it's summer--- more kids going to the site, right??).

I can't believe there are players who have reached over 100 million dollars. That takes a lot of free time

well its pretty easy to cheat, as you can just invest in some game sites which particularely get alot of hits during the week(in school hrs) then sell mid week and repeat.

There are cheats out there. People have found flaws in the system and exploted them. Personally, I don't get a buzz out of cheating, quite the opposite infact. I'm happy to plod along and make my fortune the right way

My girlfriend did use the link and she signed up for an account on Alexadex with it. But I never got the referral money So I guess it just won't work for me. Another thing, each time I logged in the first few times I logged in, I used Bat's ref link, and each time it'd say "latest referral from Batvink." So is that a glitch or did you actually get that referral money each time?

ROFL. How is that cheating? That's how you play this game Buy low, sell high.

EDIT:

Matt Rock - Maybe they don't allow referrals from the same IP address. Otherwise people would just sign up 11 different accounts to receive the $10,000 commission. Smart, really.

I bought shares in ageia.com a while ago, and it's lost me $1,700... That's why I'm like -33%... On the plus side TGC is up by $500 (it *WAS* $750... knew I should of sold).

I signed up for an account at work, using the link Alexadex gave me as my referral link. If it doesn't work then I'm going to get angry

It is very slow. I joined Celebdaq too (http://www.bbc.co.uk/celebdaq), and that updates every 20 minutes. But buying shares in celebrities isn't my thing.

Yeh. I had a go at celebdaq (eatbeansandfart was my username) but I kinda got bored of it pretty quickly. Celebs popularity seems to be completely random, one day they are, the next day they're not. At least with alexadex you can use your brains a bit (like your nifty airbus buying BatVink).

But this *isn't* the stock market. Obviously you will not win this game if you buy purely on how much money the website makes (which in the stock market, value plays a large role).

So no, the only way to play alexadex is to buy shares in a site just before a mad rush of people go to the site, then sell before it tapers off. That's how you play and win. (easier said than done, as I am losing )

There is a bit of leeway because they update once every 24 hours at the most. So if something big happens today, you can buy after it happens as long as there are shares left.

The real challenge is, which sites do you go to and buy up when something big happens?

If they had constant updates on this site it'd be the funnest free game on the internet, imho.

I think the updates must be once a day. If the value of a site doesn't change in a day, it is most likely because the site volume hasn't changed in 24 hours.

If your still waiting for referal money, make sure that the person you refered has done something with there account, like exchange shares...

Quote: "I'm not getting any money for my referrals! What's going on?

Cash bonuses are awarded for new accounts ONLY after they begin actual trading (ie. buy and sell shares). This is to cut down on referral fraud. The system will watch their behavior and award the cash accordingly, usually after a 1-2 hours delay. Also, you can get a live (external) link on the home page for each refererer you send, whether they sign up or not. Just go to your prefs page and update your homepage. For each hit you send over, we will show your password and link to the next few visitors. A good way to plug into your site, if you like."

[Edit] Haha, anyone else notice it says password instead of username, quite a worrying response to a FAQ

She has, she's been trading every day since the referral. I even signed up for a new account while I was at work and used it to buy and then sell a bunch of different stocks (I didn't want to cheat or use up stocks that someone else could buy... I just wanted to see if my link was bad or something) and sure enough, two days after the fact I still have not yet gotten the referral cash I think my link is broken or something. I copied and pasted it, and when you use it it says "latest referral from Matt Rock," but no cash What's that word you brits use? Bollocks? Does that sum up my anger here? What does that word mean, anyway?!? Anyway, I'm angry, angry enough to use slang that I don't understand lol

That word is used wghen you make a mess of something, not when you're frustrated And it refers to the male anatomy that can bring you to your knees with one well-aimed kick.

I wonder if your gf lost the reference to your link by looking around the site first instead of signing up straight away.

Ohhhhh.... I guess that makes sense. It's a fun word to use

She signed up as soon as she got the account, I was watching over her shoulder. She did it the same way I gave you my referral. I think alexadex just hates me
