UFO said "It took me hours to make!".. Yes I can understand that,.. choosing just the right font from 20,000+ installed on your system is no small task Not to mention finding the perfect font size to make the chosen font shine.

@BiggAdd - It's kind of hard to keep up with all the entries - though your post a few pages back with your three entries so far was useful I liked the space one - the lensflare was really eyecatching. The one about needing help (with the user-error) was funny, but a bit too 'noisy' for me - too much going on. Not sure what your other one was about, but it was a little forgettable. Mind you - I suppose banners shouldnt be the most eyecatching thing on a page!

Oh, and Pincho - I like your arkanoid-style ones, but it might look a bit better if you actually seperated the blocks - at the moment they look a bit shrinkwrapped?

Ah heck and while I'm here - UFO, I like the green and the texture of your latest one - did you try putting the 'shine' further to the right? (Around about the "U" in forums, I thought).

It's ok, Hollywood - no need to be sorry. Just learn from what you've already done and try to make better. That's what I'm doing, anyway Maybe the next one you make, you can try to make the text 'pop' a bit - really stand out. If you can't read it easily from the other side of the room, then it's not popping ;D

I think what Megaton cat means, is that they are too unclear. You need to make the text standand out more. But keep trying, there's no reason to give up.

I can read your banners, Hollywood, but I have to concentrate too much. I think it is bacause the background and the text is too close to the same color...and they are too low quality too.

I would like to take a chance to fix up my banners and to say that the banners I have are really bad compared to others from now on I will only post banners that are simple and not horriable.
The first one I redid is the war torn TGC.

Hollywood - that's a difficult font to read at the best of times (people aren't used to curly fonts like that - it's hard to tell what's an "L", a "P" or maybe even an "R"). Coupled with the fact that it's gold on brown, it may be quite hard to read again? What do you think?
