Some of those screenies were little too dark and almost all of them were just corridors. But still good work!

I don't think a lot of people are interested, so I guess I'll just make it for myself.

Indeed, don't loose heart about shareing. It looks like it's coming along well. You just have to think a bit before posting screens. what I mean is , are you showing us something we haven't seen before? Remember most of us have FPSC, so we've made these scenes before just messing around with the engine. i'll go through each pic to show what I mean.
pic1- meh, it's way to dark to see what's going on. It doesn't seem key to the game.
pic2- meh, I see this everytime I test my own vents and others games with vents.Once again, it doesn't seem key to the game.
pic3- Now that's more like it! It shows a great use of lighting and atmosphere. it looks like your walking over some viscuous stuff. This is what you need to showcase.
pic4&5- Theyr'e OK, It's not relevant to the story much except the blood trail but they're almost the same.
pic6- Um no. You kinda gave us nothing to look at. you mentioned you like the ligting but it's more a lack of anything that we see.
pic7- This one is better, not as good as pic3 visually, but it does let us know a bit more of where your going with the story and what not.
By no means am I an expert on these things; just thought I'de give some screenie advice.

Diego.

I agree with the comments here.

If you think you have a good idea for a game dont get disheartened. Stick with it - the first ideas are usually the best.

You game itself will get better as you learn more and you can update as you go and always go back and improve things.

I have been creating and recreating the same game levels in different engines for years as I still like the game idea I have and still have not finished a single level to my satisfaction in FPSC.

Believe in yourself and what you can do and dont be put off by anyone - just learn from them if you can.

Thank you uman and Disturbing 13. I have 2 questions before I can update the sceenshots and post the demo.

1. Whenever I put a character in FPSC the texture is black. I have tried re-installing Fps Creator again, but it never works. Any ideas?

2. What are the formats for the sound zone?

Still nothing about your videocard. In most of cases that is the problem. Check out preferences from files menu and make sure full shader effects are turned off. Then try again.

To your second question. Formats are .wav and .ogg as disturbing 13 mentioned. Put your sounds in audiobank folder that you can find from program files/the game creators/fps creator folder.

I hope this helped.

I hate my computer. I had tested the game twice then it started to go crazy the textures were out of place. Now I got to do the second level over again because it was corrupted.

Hey, dont lose momentum Diego. I uploaded Hell's Sanctuary which was 189 megs. More than 30 people downloaded it, but yet only 1 person commented on it. Just the way it goes. You will know when you hit the mark for sure when you get major response. So until then, keep generating ideas.

Welcome to gamemaking with the FPSC.

As Stamina said, don't give up. Everytime I've made my own games, there's always been errors that have made me go crazy and want to stop developing. But you can always improve and learn from mistakes.
Perhaps you can even make the second level a lot better by rebuilding it.

FPSC has tons of bugs and issues with everything; but, despite that, you can still manage to make games with it, if you have patience. It isn't always your computer's fault.

If nothing else works out, or you get desperate, perhaps you should ask about the problem in the Bug reports forum. That's what I did.

Keep up the good work with custom media and games! Your kitty pack was amazing. I remember the time I used it in my previous game, Gravelooter...

Good job, maybe you can take some screenshots when you are adding a game to this Showcase. Take's some action screenshot will take some attention of people like where you are killing a monster or just make a screenshot of a very cool area! Where people think: WOW! I need that game when does it comes!? But it is still nice!

Screenshots do not look very interesting in my opinion, and the story sounds rather like 7 Days a Skeptic...
