Good, I'm just gonna add a couple of F.E.A.R style moments and a few enemies, then release the demo (and this time I mean it)

OK, so I have'nt posted in a while, but its all because Iv been working on some major updatidge the game now has menu screen rewritten manual AI (still Dark AI based though) and a really cool music system (see video). I am now going to write a sub for winning the level, and then going to upload the demo, so hold tight for a little while longer.
The new video

Note: In the video it seems the animations are slow (cos fraps knocks off 20 fps) and the title screen pointer seems offset, this is because I set fraps to half size, but please know that its all perfect in the actual game.

The screenshots look great. I'm going to edit my opinion of the video afterwards.

Edit:

Nice video, looks really funny, how the zombies are "dancing".
Also, as you've already mentioned, the sound-system seems to be promising. Keep it up!

Well yeah I agree, it actually made me laugh when I first wached the vid after recording, but its because its going too slow so it looks like its dancing, when it goes at its intended speed it looks pretty good.
Thanks for the comments guys.

Now here is the newest update since the demo was released. I've now implemented physics, so check out my video, and please leave feedback.

Note: The physics may seem slow because of fraps, please dont go on about it seeming slow and turning up gravity etc.

Yay! I like scary games! And this game is nice! but I agree with Gamedesign er20, the mutant looks silly... (And hard to shoot at) Since you said until you get a better enemy, may I help? (don't worry, it's for free)

I want to e-mail you, but you didn't post it... Cuz I have some questions to ask before I start (polycount, texture size, etc.)
Btw, expect it to be finished in 1-2 weeks...
Well, you could e-mail me instead...

Actually, there is the acception of FPSC levels which is basically what mine is. The media you cannot take is things like characters and weapons.

Actually, you can email tgc and get permission. I did and they said it can be used with any products from TGC as long as TGC are mentioned in all the docs, read me, and etc. I asked because we are going to add FPSC level support to our engine and use FPSC as a level editor.

I believe I emailed RickV. Though it may have been support. I'll go through my 1000's of emails when I get home and see if you want. I'm sure I saved a copy in my archives.

Wow, nice job!
Although I noticed that the enemy has no transparency that makes the tools not obvious in his mouth... Otherwise, looks great!
I suggest you add more effects (bloom, shadow, etc), similar to Condemned... Visual presentation makes a horror game more scary!

The "set object transparency obj,4" didn't work? Maybe you changed the file format of the texture that made the alpha channel lost...
I did gave you the texture in .png format, right?

Yes you did, but ill sort it out, a quick photoshop edit should do the trick.
I've finished animnating it (after learning to properly rig) and I've made a video showing this bad boy in action.

I like the video, but the 3D model still seems like it is missing the scary factor. Maybe it's just the placement of the character that makes it scary, after all, even the mutant was scary when it's popping up right behind you

Cocacola and Pepsi aren't that differnt. Deal with it.

..... I guess I failed on making the monster scary.....
If I may suggest, it's scarier to have more opponents to fight simultaneously. In that way, the player will definitely run away!
