Why are you all congratulating him. I'm green with envy and hope Hawkeye is crushed to death under his mountain of freebies, then I'll have it all. In fact, he's not posted here so he obviously isn't too bothered, give them to me and I'll show you appreciation like never before.

Only kidding, congrats Hawkeye, may you make many a game with your freebies.

And what if it's you Dazzle?

Having said that I wouldn't mind knowing, but I'll see you in court if it's me.

Interesting. It took us until Feb. 18, 2005 to get 500,000 posts(actually doesn't seem that long ago):
http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=48811&b=2

It only took us another 20 months to double that post count. I blame the FPSC boards.

Wow.

I feel... special :o Like I've just won the lottery - but a bit different. Time to put all that stuff to good use!

A brief speech to the masses:

I know you lot well enough to tell you're being sarcastic about the "respected member of the community thing," but I'd like to say something anyway. I joined these forums when I was slightly, err, shall we say, immature, and I said more than few stupid things to people. Now, three years later, I'm older, wiser, but only slightly more mature I've always tried to say silly jimmy-esque things that are funny by virtue of being stupid, but sometimes I've gone a bit overboard on the stupid side (and sometimes I just plain showed my ignorance).

As for actual programming... I consider myself to be more than fairly adept at dbp, but I've never posted anything (aside from the cinco de maya game), mainly because I have zero media skills. However, now I hope to turn around and turn into a serious indie developer and maybe, just maybe, make that ultimate-kick-arse-ninja-to-own-all-ninjas game that's been bouncing around in my head for the past few years

In short, I don't want to abuse my gift, so I'm gonna dive in head first. So. Apologies to anybody I've offended over the past three, now gimmie my goods!

I had to read that first post three times to make sure I understood it. That is SO awesome!

Congratz Hawkeye, glad to see it was you who won. Of course, now you'll have to make us the greatest dbp game ever.

Man, that's like winning a lottery you didn't even enter. Exeactly how much money would it cost to buy every single product on this site?

Three cheers for Hawkeye!

Well it depends on how you look at it - if I get everything that TGC makes, then that rules out a bunch of third party plugs (ngc, xtends, etc.), but if I get everything that TGC sells, then I do get all that stuff. I'm *guessing* it's the first, because that'd be easier than sorting out this deal with all those 3rd party developers... but who knows how far Rich's generosity will extend?

heh, but I don’t care either way - I'll still end up with nearly a thousand dollars of goodies anyway, it's hard to argue with that
