Well, sometimes I do think the cane would work more, I mean man I see kids around the school and they're lil' sh*ts to be honest, I was no where near that sh**ty and I was the hyper kid, at least I gave respect to my teachers, rather than calling them wan***s and telling them to f*** off like people do today, considering I'm in sixth form, that's a fast decline.

Well, I don't agree with the cane, most people from my year could be controlled with the current power of the teacher, although still very disruptive and annoying. I think teachers should be able to be discipline, it doesn't make you any more mean, I mean my English Literature teachers can handle sh*tty kids and still be liked, I mean Mr Spencer can lose his cool with the younger years outside the class, then walk in with a smile and talk positively.

Damn, I was gonna put a bid on it as well Play a cruel joke on someone, with an instance of having 2 wii's for Christmas and my intense generosity and a gullible person

The eBay auction was just a Wii box, not a Wii. It was designed as a gift to give your kids if they are rotten--- to smash their hopes and teach them a lesson. He also offered to send rocks to weigh the box down to make it more realistic when they open it on Christmas morning

Quote: "I'm thinking this kid might have a neurological problem (ADD/H comes to mind...), "

[opinion] In my own opinion, I think ADD and ADHD are fake "disorders" that were invented by pharmaceutical corporations to get lazy kids dependent on medications. When I was a kid, they called ADD "daydreaming" and ADHD "being an over-cola'd hyper little brat." lol I only wish they dished out ritalin when I was a kid! I mean seriously, how many kids have ADD/ ADHD now? But anyway... [/opinion]

Quote: "Second question, how can they make smacking illegal. If they did, kids would have nothing to fear, I am 14 myself, and if our teachers at school were allowed to cane the kids I bet we would learn a great deal more."

My parents never smacked me around, and I never went and stole cars or shot people or took lunch money from other kids. If I was bad, my mom and/ or dad would ask me to cut it out. If I continued to misbehave, they'd yell at me. If I continued further, they'd take away my Atari and lock it up in their closet, and presto, I turned into a saint .

And seriously, no teacher should ever be given the right to strike students. It's a risk not only to students, but to the teachers themselves. What if the teacher wrongfully smacks your kid around for no good reason? Who would the parents believe, the allegedly unruly kid or the seemingly-innocent teacher? And what's to keep that kid from going into school the next day and blowing the teacher's head off? Kids nowadays are shooting their teachers on a whim! Imagine what they'd do if they had a decent excuse? At the end of the day, if anyone hits my kids, they should leave the country. If they made it legal for teachers to beat kids, I'd certainly hope they'd make it legal for parents to beat teachers.

Ha-ha. That was almost funnier the Japenese Wii Manual post.

@Matt Rock: I agree.

I know, the 'getting 2 wii's for christmas' thing was just part of my scheme into tricking somebody, but not really get it.

I wonder why the eBay article was pulled? I mean, it's not illegal to sell a box, especially since the guy made it absolutely clear it was a box and even suggested the use for it.

I wonder if some idiot somewhere (no prizes for suggesting where this somewhere would be) felt so offended with the sale that threatened to sue the poor guy...

I don't know. I guess the guy needed some spare change and so he decided to sell the box.

Probably because people were going there thinking it was an actual Wii, even though the guy running the auction indicated a few million times that it was only the box and not the actual console. Or maybe someone who had this done to them was offended by it. People will complain about anything nowadays .
