Ok, if someone has already done this then you just lock this.
Since people have been asking can you change the sky in game play and the answer is no, then i think i solved you problem. I was just doing some tests and have manage to come across with this.

Download this here

http://files.filefront.com/Testskyrar/;7798331;;/fileinfo.html

Play until you get to level 2 and see what happens.

Here is a snapshot in case someone goes post a snapshot or this will get locked, it may look rubbish but it just a test.

Edit: When you start the game, to go to level 2, go straight for the top right corner where there are no guns.

If you are using a trigger zone with script to change the sky it can cause all sorts of problems in FPSC.I tried this and found that I could not change the sky to anything else after,I had to reinstall FPSC to things back to normal.
I think the problem was with calling a skybox into existence, which is a physical .x object it was being left in the level setup ini somehow and with no way to destroy this at the end of level it was hiding any new skybox I tried to change to.
I was going to post the script to show how this was done but fear that someone would try it and get mad at me for screwing up everything.
If you could maybe just let us know a little about how you achieved this before I try it out with the example you have posted so we can be sure it wont have any problems.
Best rolfy.

It all done with the loading page script, i copied this code
onto one of the loading page and ended up with this

I was think of try to make another setup level script, i though to myself, lets see what happens when i do this, and it worked.
I tested the game when the sky change, the game didn't crash or slow down at all.

I also found out to if you want to keep the sky for another level or 2, you need to copy
for every loadingpage E.g

loadingpage2
loadingpage3
loadingpage4

if you want to change the sky for level 5, then you copy the code on loadingpage5 but change the sky=skybankNaturalNgt to E.g

sky=skybankww2Gas

I hope it helps.

Edit: Just test it with using 4 skies and it works fine, rolfy you download the game and tested it yet?

I will download and try it now, could you upload another which changes the sky a couple of times over levels.
I didn't think to try changing using the loading page, just with a script in trigger zone, which had the problems I described above.
If this works as you say, then I will be a very happy chappy.
But I will be most annoyed at TGC who could have given this info which seems like a very simple method,or maybe it's in the manual somewhere and I have just missed it.

I just tested this method over three levels and it worked just fine,I am most grateful to you for discovering this.
I would like to do some more testing using this method as it seems to work fine.
Many thanks for sharing your findings

Sweet. I never thought to put that in the loading script. I wonder what else we can do that way...

Vote today and play the games!

I read the whole manual and couldn't find any, maybe Lee never though
of it.

Now anyone can use different skies in just one game.

I'm glad you all like it.

lol i tried something similar to this before with the loadingpage but it didn't work for me. I guess I did something different. This could make it possible to change ambience per level also to match the skybox without the need of a triggerzone.

Good find! Could I include this in my guide?

Search for "HellHouse" in Showcase.
