They have opened to Canadian subscribers now, so I'm kind of getting interested. There's about 850 games, some old and some newer, to play for $10 a month. Anyone tried this service? I guess it can't hurt since they have a promotion where the first month costs 99 cents.

They have a bunch of classic games I used to play when I was younger. Sounds fun

Tell me about it. I signed up for the first month for 99 cents and, as it turns out, the main draw for me (old Sierra games) are not available in Canada. Funny thing is, those are the only ones I could see on the whole network with that single restriction. Why would they do that anyway? They certainly sold those games on the shelf here--- odd, especially as other Sierra games are available. Ah well.

I used Gametap for a bit, mostly to play arcade games that were never really ported well (gotta love Burger Time and Stargate). I cancelled since I found I was just not playing enough to make it worth it, but the service is good.
