Friend just linked me to this site, its pretty cool, has a bunch of the classics on it to play in your browser for free:

http://nintendo8.com/toplist/

Not much of a variety but still pretty good.

I'm a bit dubious about it's legality tbh, and they're not Snes games, but Nes games.

Site is very slow. Was the sound on nes that bad? I played 1942 there and the music was just beeps. At least I think it was music.

Your signature has been erased by a mod because it's larger than 600x120....

I find this site http://www.virtualnes.com/ to be much better, and it has a huge list of NES games. Not to steal your thunder, Ruccus...

Has tons of games, you get atari 2600 and NES for free, with a paid account($5 a month) or if you send them some old cartridges you get SNES, Genesis and Gameboy games. They actually are legal, kind of neat they are "renting" out their cartridges to you so never have more instances of a game then the number of carts they own.

Unfortunatly, I'm not sure on the legalities of playing such old games on emultators.

Yes, they're pretty much abandoned software now, but they are still the product of some company.

I'm going to lock this.
