Hey guys,

Been a long time since iv'e used dbpro and I'm little confused as to why I have 2 files when I save.

When I save my application, I get 2 files, a dba and dbpro.

Which one am I ment to open when I wish to edit my source ?

Also why are their 2 files instead of 1?

Thanks in advance!!

The dbpro file I think just stores data such as window sizes etc. It's the dba file you want to edit your source.

.dba are the source files where the code is.
.dbpro is the save of the project itself.

If you see, on the file menu there is the option to "save project as", even the "new source" and "new project" options.

If you want to open your whole project, you would open the DBPro file. That's what I do at least. The DBA file holds all of the source, but the DBPro file is what you want to open (if you're running DBPro)

1 dbpro file = many dba files.

All of the included files are listed in the dbpro file. Open it up in Notepad, it will soon make sense
