Thanks for your comment I'm glad hundreds of fpsc users do not hold the same belief as you do and that this stuff is very game suitable and even more reputable.

But seeing that this comment comes from a fpsc user who claims to have been a game developer for over 15 years, I know not to take it too serious.

No Ima kinda agree with Klive,,, The fantasy model pack is good,,, Bu tthe mountains... You really should have used a more detailed texture,,, They look like and old style RPG in 3D,,, -- which is... awfull to be honest..

Why would being for over 15 years in game development and using FPS creator be strange?
I've been in the scene for the last 6 years with several years modding experience prior to that and I use FPS creator as well.

The mountain setting in the first picture could definitly be used for a game, one comes to mind as a quick idea is a person enters a painting for some mysterious reason.
It looks like a specific paint-like style and is of quality that it is usable.

I'm not sure about the 2nd picture, the heightmapping seems to lift the texture map too much which makes it un-usable.

The medieval pictures, they look really basic, square and plain.
The torch is, well I could at least define it as a torch but it's so symmetrical and plain.
The walls are so empty and I have no words for the guy in the square armor.
The "fireplace" because of the colorscheme looks out of place.

Hmmm... something strange is going on. Some of you haven't posted here for ages and suddenly you all decided to jump on this thread and making the same kind of comments (some got removed by a mod I guess). You're not subscribed to the thread either, so I'm guessing someone is asking you to post comments like these. I have a feeling I know who may be asking.

Anyway, you don't have to buy and as it looks now, soon you will not be able to do so anymore and you've missed out some very original stuff that will be a great addition to your games.

Let me also thank you for keeping the thread alive and on top, that will help people to notice this cool stuff that they can use in their games.

Sorry but i dont see anything wrong with the models.

Okey maybe they arent the best, so what?

There are a lot of models on these forums who people like.
(including my model pack which isnt the greatest)

I dont see any of you jumping on them because of the quality.

Anyway not to sound harsh (hope i spelled it right) or anything.

Xplosys, it was just a suggestion, as i knew you had a FPSC website and you might of been interested in the buisness deal.

TATBS 1.8 is now fully functional. Brilodis is having its districts extracted to Battle City. Krina and Karin are twice the size. And you’ll see 5 times as many breeds of monsters... It’s Kalspher V3.

Inspite of his comments made, I still would let him handle it if he wanted to do so. Wouldn't be a bad deal for him either, it could help him finance his website or so.

Ben...

I'm not about to have a go at you, but from what I have seen, you have just quickly made a couple of landscapes and are trying to make some money off the people who are desperatly looking for some landscapes.

Yet on the other hand, I do try to encourage anyone that is making modelling, I know how hard it is to model, seeing as how I have attempted and failed, but I personally wouldn't buy these.

regards, Adam

You don't have to buy, that's fine with me and I'm glad that a lot of people have been here long enough to know that that's not the case at all.

There's over 100 landscapes and modeling those alone isn't just done quickly..... Then there's creating all of the textures, all of them are original ones. If I would charge for all the hours gone into these packs, most people couldn't afford them at all.

Once again I still have to wonder why people who haven't posted in over 4 months (and some even over a year) suddenly all appear in this thread...... at least you keep this thread alive and on top and I can only appreciate that, as do the people who never seen my stuff before and decide that is worth using. On behalf of all of us, thanks for keeping this thread on top!

LOL! Do you have any idea as to the poly count of that smily face?

There's a reason why people don't just import highly detailed relief maps into a program like Bryce, and then try to find a way to get it into .X format. Most people use Bryce (or Vue or Terregen) for making Skycubes, or backgrounds in 2D games. That's about all it's good for, as far as gamemaking is concerned.

Ben,

I have no clue waht you did a while back but I can only know from what has been said in this thread, it sounds bad, but tbhI have nothing against you seeing as how I dont know what you've done, but if a mod is even annoyed then it must have been bad...

As mentioned before, Im debating what to do with the fpsc content on my website. If reached a final conclusion, the fpsc store will be closing definitely the beginning of next year, 2008, but perhaps earlier.

If you need/want the items after that time, you're going to be out of luck.

If I'm going to close it earlier, I'll make sure everyone knows that on time. I'm working on a huge project at them moment that will take up a lot of webspace, so the fpsc stuff has to go. I'm anticipating it will be done end of this year, but perhaps earlier.

If you do like the stuff at my website, do not hesitate too long.

I'm wondering why in the world you popped in and came to say only that after not having posted anything at all for over a year now?

I recall the same odd pattern a while back in another thread that was locked. Very odd behaviour, but I guess our friend is bugging some of his friends (who never post anything at all) again to post here, just as the last time.

For what's it worth, I don't really know you and if that's all you have to say after having been silent for over a year, then your 2 cents aren't worth anything at all to me.... allthough I can use any amount of money to finance my current major project.

Thanks for the kind words I guess closing my store, at leat the FPSC section, means I'm not going to put out more stuff for FPSC.

When X10 will be released it's just matter of time for X9 to go into oblivion. I don't know if my stuff works on X10 and I'll never know, since I'm not going to ever buy X10, so I couln't give support for X10 users, so it's better for me to close this chapter and focus on the future.

I've still got a few games in mind to work on, but the way things are heading now, I won't be suprised if they never will be released. I'll make that decision after my current project will be done. I'm considering retiring from game creations and focus on other things instead.

for years, I'm used to spending 60+ hours on my pc. After I took the part-time teaching position at a local high school beginning of this year, that time got cut in half at laeas. The last few weeks I've spent about 10 hours and less on the computer. Spending more time with my friends & family, doing other fun things. I didn't even miss the computer at all and I missed game creation even less, so I guess it's time for me to move on to other things.

I'm considering even selling all of my game creation related software now, but first I do want to finish the game I'm working on and after that, you may well never see me again in the game creation scene......

One thing for sure, once the fpsc section of my store is closed you will even see me less then now around here.

Seeing as you may be closing your shop, to completly maximize your final sales, How about an offer for those who buy all your content on your fpsc, a bumper pack containing everything on the fpsc page, buy them all and get a special price for a premier customer.

They've already been reduced in price recently...... but, if it's going to help you make up your mind, I'm OK with running a special.

SPECIAL "Fallen One" SALE (everyone can make use of it).... Get all 3 FPSC packs, for the total price of €6, just drop me an email and I'll sent you a payment link to paypal. After you've paid, I'll sent you the links.

I'll update my website later this week also, but you can start making use of the sale right away.

If you've bought items from me before (recently or in the past) not making use of any previous sale, drop me an email telling me what & when you've ordered and what you would want to add to that and I'm sure we can work something out.

This really will be the last sale I'm having, so it could well be called "Last Chance Sale"

Final post in this thread (and around here). The sale is over, I've updated the website and my fpsc days are numbered. If you interested in my other game stuff, keep an eye on my website in the coming weeks. I'm working on the last bits and pieces of my strategy game and I'm going to post info on my website in the next few weeks.

I enjoyed being here, but with this final fpsc related chapter closed now, it's time for me to move on. I do wish all of my friends and foes the best of luck!

(Mods if you please, you can close this thread now, since it has served it's purpose)
