Hey all,

Is there a security risk with using port forwarding for games or opening game ports?

Thanks

You would only do it if you were running a server.

There's no way to run one without opening a port.

There should be no realy security risk as long as you are sure the game server your running is not a trojen.

If it was a trojen it could send out information about your files, key presses or allow a hacker to remote control you PC.
