Get this in the last day I have won 12 lotteries in the UK with my email address. Each has a prize in excess of 1,500,000 pounds, all I have to do is send them my bank account information so they can deposit my winnings. Oh boy wheres my routing number.

Lucky you!

Contrary to you, I've just received an email from "Paypal" and also from a "Bank" telling me that, unfortunately, they lost all my data and I have to re-enter all my personal information back. My usual luck.

Oh yeah, I get a couple of bank notices a day saying that if I don't update my information, they will freeze my account. I've tried to update it, but it seems I don't have accounts at these particular banks.

Go figure.

I find it hilarious when the spam's sender has the most outrageous name. Thanks to gmail, all the fun is collected into one easy to delete folder.

Wouldn't it suck if it were for real and you thought it was a scam and so you didn't get the 1,500,000 pounds but some poor dumb bugger after you gave them thier bank info and got that money deposited?

I say you should give them your bank info!

Or run down to a bank and start up a new account and give them that info. It might be worth the $25 bucks to find out if it's real or not! lol

I just got an invitation of a Nigerian Prince that I'm the unknown heir of the royal family. Found that pretty strange, as my mother is Dutch back for over 12 generations, and my father Egyptian back for at least 9 of them.

Should I mail back that I think I'm mistaken?

Oh awesome, just checked my mail, and some foreigner tried to log in to my Paypal account. They requested me to log in, and change the password.

Weird thing is, I do not have Paypal...

I got the same PayPal one today. You should forward it to phishing@paypal.com. They collect info from them and try to catch the scoundrels. You can always tell if its fake, because PayPal only sends to your PayPal email address and it always begins with your PayPal account name. (Dear, whatever the account name is)

Best.

isn't there a site dedicated to catching/wasting scammer's time?

something like 811eaters.com or something.

the 811 (or whatever it is) apparently refers to some part of Nigeria's legal code that the scammers tend to quote.

I don't have a sig, live with it.

No fair, I only won three UK lotteries . I think I'll pick them up while I fly out to Africa to pick up my inheritance from my long-lost uncle who just died (whose last name is Rock, which is odd, since "Rock" isn't really last name ). Maybe enroute I can pick up some male enhancement drugs and use them when I meet the dozens of hot singles who apparently want nothing more than to meet me. What a vacation this is gonna be.

He didn't even have correct grammar or spelling.

Lol, somone should start a scam where they send you an email saying "Your bank has lost all of your personal information, please resend us an email containing this imformation so we can continue your account."

Lol, I bet that would fool so many people, except the smart ones
