Ever since I watched that movie "Maxed Out" and saw how inhumane those credit card companies are, I'm absolutely terrified of having credit. But you're right, at some point I'm going to need credit, may as well buckle down and do it in the near future. But that's just it, I know that once I get that card I'll start saying things like "eh, I need this software now," or "oh screw it, I should just get the PS3 now since I'm at the store anyway," or "heh, my girlfriend might like this movie." That "I need to play with my new toy" mentality will one day be the death of me .

Good to see that they've at least started to give you some in return, but I hope you get the rest too .

So...how do I join MISoft again? .

EDIT: Didn't see second page.

This is a very... sad story. No, not even sad. It made me angry. Angry about how big companies treat the smaller starting clients like crap.

They make me want to fail them

If only I could send them a program to pop on every computer in their company directing them to this page, I\'d do it. Bad thing I have no idea about hacking, not even about a programming language (except pascal )

Mate, I hope everything solves out. And a lawyer may give you a fair idea of where you are at.

In my country, such a case can be taken to a major court trial. Such things simply CANNOT be done!

Matt, open an account with no overdraft option. Talk to your bank about what they call it for me it is an integrated savings account. They will only ever pay out what is available and if a charge comes through that is for more than is in the account the charge is denied. You could also set up a prepaid credit card to link paypal or whatever to that way it cannot pay out more than is available. If you want to stay with a standard account go to the bank and apply for a line of credit on the account, what people are calling "overdraft protection" is actually overdraft piracy with a line of credit on the account anything over the amount in you account becomes a loan with a fixed interest rate determined by you application and not subject to these fees.

$170? My sneeze dust is worth more than that. I can certainly understand your frustration, but wanting to go to court over that much money is silly.

You should keep as much money in the bank as it takes you to operate for one month. Then you'll never have a problem, ever. That's just being responsible.

Paypal has done nothing wrong. I think that you were lucky to get any overdraft money back. You incurred those costs because you didn't plan ahead appropriately. You should be more concerned with who took your money. It was likely someone close to you.
